These boots are very comfortable right out of the box. I would expect them to be a little tighter being new, but I'm afraid to go down a half size. Time will tell, if they stretch over time, they will be a little big, but I hesitate to go down a half size, which would be tight if they don't stretch. They are beautiful, comfortable, and exceed expectations. After one year the stitching above the heel on the back of the boot is tearing out. Not the life expectancy I have come to expect from Florsheim.
when ever I purchase shoes the marked European metric system is as close as can get to correct size of shoes. i am returning these and trying another size in this same boot.
These have to be the most comfortable shoes I own, and that was apparent within 30 seconds of putting them on. They are smooth and supportive and cushioned all over, even up over the ankle. These are so comfortable that I immediately purchased a second pair in black. They are stylish and slick looking, nice enough to wear as dress boots with a suit but also fine with jeans or chinos. Fit is true to size, maybe a tiny but narrow and long but that's really just the style of this zipper boot. The only downside is that the microfiber padded lining does not breathe well, so these boots are not great in warm weather.
Love these Florsheim boots! Real leather and real rubber soles. Extremely well made. They are also extremely comfortable, right out of the box. I wish they offered more rounded toe (wide toe box) boots, but these are outstanding! I have bought cheaper, lesser ones. You can quickly tell the difference. Very sharp boots and very comfortable, right out of the box.
