These boots are gorgeous. I buy from free people regularly because they consistently deliver superior and fashionable products. These boots are no different. The leather is very soft. So much so I found myself petting it instead of my cat! I love real leather. This smells wonderful and it has the bend and creases that only real leather products show. It's got solid stiching but I am a bit disappointed by the zipper being plastic. The heel is also plastic combined with rubber soles. The thicker heel gives them a stability but doesn't take away from the aesthetic of the boot. I prefer the thicker heel over kitten heels that I am only ever wobbly in. There were no chips, scuffs or marks on them.Inside leather tongue says "made in Portugal"They fit true to size. My feet are narrow and the toe section fit is snug which means if you have wide feet it may take a little time to stretch them out. These would be SO much more comfortable if I went up half a size though or even a full size. I typically wear an 9 and got a 9 but wish I had ordered a 10 because then I coud have bought some additional insoles! Truth be told these are not comfortable boots. My feet were very unhappy after walking around in them for several hours. Does that prevent me from wearing them? No. I just intend to mostly be sitting behind a desk when I wear them from now on. If you want them for walking I would really look into inserts. Otherwise, it's a really beautiful boot.
I soooo badly wanted to love these shoes. They are very nice looking but so uncomfortable to walk in. Buy if you plan to sit all day.
Beautiful color and so soft. Not for daily wear, these are a pretty delicate leather. Really stylish and a fun option with ankle flares or skirts with tights this fall.
