I have other Funtasma products and have been pleased with them all. I wear a size 13, and bought the XL. It was roomy for my feet.Like others have said, the calf can be a bit tight. If you have huge calves, you can un-zip the zipper and just use the ties.The boot is overall comfortable and well made. It is hot and doesn't breath well. I used one of my 'superfeet' insoles in it and had no pain walking around for a full night of partying.The boots have a good look. They're obviously not rich leather, and are a bit on the plastic like side, but a little wear/dust/dirt and a night time party, they look great!No complaints here. Great costume pair of boots.

Size small should be men’s 8/9Medium should be 10/11We purchased a small when the boots arrived they were stickered on the sole size small 8/9 we looked inside the boot and it was a 10.Zip up the back very cute look awesome my kid was thrilled just sad the size was wrong so we sent them back for an exchange.

I was a little wary of purchasing because of other some of the other comments but I was pleasantly surprised (which doesn't happen often) when I received these and first put them on. When I ordered these, Amazon did not have my size (I wear a US 10 shoe) in stock, so I had to get the smaller size (Small 8-9), so I was really scared that they would be much too small and not fit. When I first put them on, they fit like a dream! Very comfortable all the way around. My calves are actually somewhat smaller, so the top is slightly big, but makes for a good fit with my pants tucked inside. The bottom part couldn't be more comfortable though. I've been wearing them around all day and they feel great!The ankle section is a little more flimsy than the rest, but it allows smooth movement of the entire foot and does not restrict ankle movement in the least.As other comments mentioned, the zipper is a little difficult to zip up, mostly because it hides away and has a flap over it on the inside, so it keeps it protected.Overall I am very pleased with these. The quality is surprising for the price and complete my adventurer style attire very well. I will be taking these to the Pittsburgh Renaissance Festival this weekend, so I'll comment and update on how they performed throughout the day.

Great costume boots! At close proximity they are obviously vinyl, but on stage they look fantastic.I had four actors in these, 2 medium pairs and two large. They were all teenage boys so we never had issues with the calves being too tight as some have said.They all held up quite nicely. Only one pair has a moderately bad scuff mark and you can't see it from the audience so it doesn't bother me.My one complaint is that I wish the bottoms were slightly softer. This show was performed in 3 different theatres and depending on the stage, sometimes the heals were heard more than I would have liked. I am working on trying to find a way to remedy this, but have so far not come up with anything I like. Still a great costume boot and I would definitely recommend for all your ren faire needs.

It’s a well made pair of boots. It’s pleather, but good quality. It fits well. My foot size is 12.5 (US). I was under the impression that it would be a cheap made one for costumes, but it’s actually good. It’s surpassed my expectations. Highly recommended.

I purchased these boots for the purpose of a costume I bought on another site, and I must say that I am overall satisfied with them. I've had them for about 1 1/2 months now and I think it's high time I gave an in-depth review.When I first got these boots, they came in a nice box from Funtasma and were not damaged in any way. since these boots use both a zipper and laces it takes a little while to put them on. I recommend zipping it up, tightening the lace, then crossing them around your leg to the front to tie them (tying string behind your calf is awkward). I found the fit to be OK, but I decided that I personally needed two layers of socks, one longer, one shorter, to get a perfect fit. Taking them out for a 15 minute walk was torture, so I put in some Dr. Scholl's and that made all the difference. These boots are made of surprisingly light material despite having a heel which is almost an inch thick. However, the reason it's so light is because the sole are made of some kind of plastic, anything and everything you step on will scratch away at the soles of the boots. Good thing they have a thick heel or they would not last long. Considering what they are made of, it is no surprise these boots are so cheap compared to other boots with cuffs like this.Side note: These things are actually rather warm, and since they ride up so high on your leg they keep snow out too.Summary of pros and cons:+Not expensive +nice stitching +surprisingly warm +good for costumes +light weight for size-cheap materials -uncomfortable without padding -not the best fitFinal Thoughts: I recommend these boots for costumes, not for day to day use.
