I purchased these boots to work my first wine grape harvest in Michigan. When the boots arrived I was immediately impressed by the quality, and how comfortable they were!Working 12-16hrs on my feet at the winery in super slippery, wet environment these boots crushed it! Easy to slip on in the morning after a long day and they kept my feet dry all day.If You're interning at a winery or working in a brewery or otherwise wet industrial environment don't hesitate to get these.
Order the same size as what you normally wear in dress shoes, not boots. I typically wear a 9 in boots but had to go with an 8 in these. I took advantage of the free returns option from Amazon, ordering these in 3 sizes to find the one that's just right. I ended up going with the 8 wide and they feel fantastic so far after a few days of working around my parent's house for a clean-up project. The boots slip on and off pretty easily. They're not as easy to get on as muck boots but still easier than laced boots. They come off just as easy as a pair of muck boots.I'm looking forward to wearing these this spring and summer and will update this review.
My husband has a hard time finding boots in his large size, but these fit perfectly and look great too!
I am required to wear steel toe work boots for work and my last pair were some Skechers Steel Toe lace up boots that I finally wore out after 2 or 3 years. I was going to get another set of those because I was pretty happy with them but I hate having to replace laces. Laces for me only seem to last a few months before I snap them and I am always either getting shorter or longer ones and it is such a hassle. When I was browsing to see what was available I spotted these and thought what a good idea. No laces. I read all the reviews as I hate to drop any money on something that is not going to be nice even on mid-range priced boots. I quickly spotted from the reviews that the boots ran a little large. I usually wear a 10.5W, but can use an 11 in a pinch. I got the 10W and they fit perfectly. I would say that they run at least a half a size larger then what most other brands size at, but your mileage may vary. They did not need to be broken in and felt great out of the box. Overall construction is good and I don't see or feel any flaws. Seems to be pretty solid and punches above its price range. Color even looks better than the photos, but it is just brown. A nice brown though. I have been wearing them for about a month in a warehouse environment and have not noticed any unusual wear. I have conditioned them once to protect them during the winter wet season and I brush them every few days and any scuffs or marks seem to brush right out. I expect them to last quite a while.
First time buyer of Georgia boots and first time buyer of slip on boots. Overall I am very happy with these boots. They do fit a little snug but nothing to complain about. Very short break in time. They feel very good on my feet. I have been walking around all day on steal decks and my feet feel great. Boot quality is good and they look good. I would definitely buy these again. I did put in some different inserts, the ones that came with the boots were not supportive enough for me. I went with some Redwing inserts, they work very well.
Normally I fit into a 10.5 but the heal on these are sloppy. I couldn’t image sizing down as everything else about this boot feels just right. Thicker socks didn’t help either.
This is the 3rd pair I've purchased. They last me about 1 year in the chemical plant. Great fit and comfortable for me. No break-in period....."plug & play" right out of the box . Biggest plus for me is that these are NOT regular boots that come up onto you calves. They are shorter but enough protection for my line of work. Completely cover my ankles. Highly recommend.
I have had these for a couple of days and was initially unsure if they would work for me. I have wide feet and the first time I put them on it was a struggle for real. That being said, I was aware via the reviews. The 2nd time I put them on a bit easier, and the 3rd started to ease up. Also my right boot was a tad tight but righty is bigger then lefty. Boots are starting to stretch and get more comfortable. Best of all is I can verify they are absolutely waterproof. My dog and I go to a field that is currently a bit overgrown and living in Oregon it seems like it's always wet. My feet are finally staying dry and I'm really happy about that. Overall, I would recommend but be patient and have a shoehorn at the ready for your initial voyage. Once they completely break in I am positive I'm going to love these boots.
