Hunter Big Kids Original Rain Boot, Black, 2

The boots arrived before the arrival date. They were in a hunter boot box. Perfect condition. I ordered the black boots and they are matte. They are not glossy like pictured. I wanted the matte boots so we were very happy. I ordered a size one for my daughter, she is in size 13 shoes right now. I got them a little big so she can wear them longer and they fit her well. My daughter loves the boots and says they are very comfy. She got to test them out the day they arrived since it's been raining so much. Her feet stayed dry as long as she did not jump in the puddles too much. The top of the boot is not snug against her leg, which let water in.We love the boots and will definitely be purchasing another pair very soon.

I receive the boots yesterday, in the original box, beautiful and comfy. I usually use 7 US size and y bought size 5 Big Kids and they at perfect.

I wanted these for a long time but didn't want to spend the money. So glad I finally bought them! Unlike other basic rainboots, these feel like real shoes. There is real grip to the bottoms. They look smart and are quality made. I usually wear a womens' 6.5 but got the kids size 5. Perfect for me. I can fit thick socks if I want and they can easy fit over skinny jeans.

I struggle with rain boots in women’s sizes. They’re usually too big. And that’s wxactly the issue with size 6 with Hunter boots. Nordstrom didn’t have an 5s. The sales rep told me to try a kids size. Most “kids” rain boots are obvious kids boots but I thought I’d give these a try.I LOVE them. They fit perfectly. With thick socks or thin socks. I’m glad I got these in kids size because the shaft is also sorter than the womens boot. The packaging wasn’t the greatest, the boots have a weird indention but I think it might come out with time.I’m 5’2” borderline 5’3” my calf at the top of the boot is 13” and my leg/foot from floor to calf is 13”.

So I received these JUST in time for my rainy trip up north, and I was blown away by how comfortable they were. I am usually a size 7/7.5 in women's, and I researched online and bought a size 5 in Big Kids. They fit perfectly, and are actually pretty warm. I wear two socks when I want to be extra insulated. They're still clean after my trip, and look brand new after all the walking. I am so happy with this. Many compliments on them!I am also 5'2, super short. And these come at the PERFECT height below my knee. Looks like perfection.

My 9 year old son had these in a huge snow melt puddle within minutes of putting them on. Fit is true to size ( he has a narrow foot and they still fit well). They have been used daily since. No problems and we are a week in use. I have a feeling the sturdy and strong construction of these boots will withstand the next two months of mud/snow/rain.

I watched some Youtube videos and read most of the comments on here before purchasing. I was really hesitant to buy this at first because I knew it would not be a snug fit around my calf—turns out my calf is about 3 or 2.5 inches smaller than the circumference of the shaft. They're a little heavy in my opinion since I'm a really petite lady (5'1", 95 lbs) but I'm not running in these anytime soon. When worn bare with no socks and no long pants, the boots make a noise while I walk because they're smacking against my calves, which means the space between the shaft and my leg is too large, as expected. I have to wear fleece-lined leggings and leg warmers in order for the sound to go away (in the picture, I'm wearing the fleece legging and stuffed a long sock in each boot, which works too!) With fluffy/jersey socks, it fits my foot really well, much better than my expectations actually. For reference, my foot size fits most women's 6 comfortably where I can flex my toes. The boots do their job—I wore these while playing Pokemon Go on Community Day while it was pouring. My feet were able to stay dry and relatively warm while stepping in puddles and walking in the rain. The only thing that was weird to me is that maybe the boots stain easily from the rain? When I put the boots up to a light, I see a lot of smudges around the foot part that resemble dried raindrops and they're really tough to get rid of with only water and a towel, but it's no big deal for me. I'm satisfied with my purchase despite it being an expensive one, which bugged me the most tbh.

These boots are great! My daughter loves them as does everyone else. They hold up very well and keep her 100% dry. From the school play yard to out on the farm, these boots are great! She does get cold in them though but we ordered up a size knowing that she will need thicker socks on. Easy to slide foot warmers in. She chooses these as her every day shoe at the moment
