Yes, they are pricey; however, they are rugged and all purpose without the heavy weight. They flex and are comfortable and well built. I compare them to my heavy duty Dansko professional clogs and I tend to pick these over them. The bottoms grip well, and the fit is spot on. They do tend to run a tad larger than my Hunter boots but definitely are not too big and I have relatively wide feet. If you have a narrow foot you might find them to wide.I even accidentally stepped through a chemical spill of acid and rinsed the bottom off within 5 minutes and it didn't even damage or eat away at the sole (which shocked me since it did impact my hands when I cleaned the spill up prior to knowing it was caustic).Highly recommend this shoe even over the Hunter boots.
I love these, except for the fact they aren't really 'slip-ons'. But very common without socks, plus roomy enough for thick socks if that's what you want. I've taken several hour long walks and they were comfortable with each step.
I love the adjustable cord on the back of the shoe. I love that I can wear them without socks and my feet remain warm, and most of all they remain dry, and they are very comfortable! one satisfied customer.!
6 WEARS IN THEY ARE PEELING! AWFUL AND UGLY. I called Hunter and they simply don't care. There are pages and pages of complaints and the lady is like "oh no, there's no issue." TERRIBLE. NEVER BUY HUNTER
