Hunter Footwear Women's Original Tall Gloss Rain Boot, White, 5

The boots are beautiful but they are way too tall for me. I'm 5'2" and the boots come up to my knees, almost covering the knees. The calves are a little snug but they still fit. I would prefer something a little looser and definitely something that doesn't come up too high. These boots are gorgeous but are not made for short people like me!

I am 9.5 but after reading several reviews I decided to get 9 and I am happy I did. The boot fits perfect with enough room to wear regular socks; it might come tight if you want to wear what they call the "Half Cardigan Stitch Boot Socks" or a very thick winter sock. This is a tall boot, it covers your leg just about 1 inch below your knee.The Color I purchased is Violet but depending of the lighting it could look like burgundy or dark red. Can't wait to wear them!

I am a size 8.5. Originally ordered an 8, per everyone's instructions. 8 was too large. Sent back and ordered a 7. Slightly snug but decided to go with it. Wore for the whole day at school (I'm a teacher and on my feet all day), and they were perfect. The color is so fun!

After reading reviews, it appeared that there was about a 50% chance that they were new originals. With free returns, it was worth the risk. Happily, mine arrived in the official box in brand new condition. The tissue paper in the toes of the boot had been removed so it's possible they were tried on previously, however, that would be the case in a department store anyhow. The fit is great with room leftover for thicker socks. I am a true size 7 and purchased a size 7. I look forward to rainy days with these and will update if anything changes. At this point, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Liked the pink color. But struggled to pull up over my calf. Walked for 2 hours. Slipped on a small puddle and almost fell. Had marks on my calf when finally managed to pull them off. Did not understand the buckle either.

Excellent boot for walking through deep mud-top of the boot protects my pants from the mud. I am feeding horses and cows and must go through deep mud in areas and the boot stays on and I have not “sat down” in the mud also a plus. I wear a 7.5 so ordered the 8 (a 7 would have been too small). Able to get the boots off without difficulty which is very important to me.

Purchased these after my Jules boots both developed cracks across the top of ankle area after only about 12 wears and, regular cleaning with Jules cleaner. These hunter Boots arrived in perfect condition. Hoping the glossy finish will be easier to care for. I read the reviews and was torn between what size to order. I am a standard 7 1/2. My Jules were a size 7 and with an insole and socks fit well but ,once I put in boot liners felt too snug. With these Hunter boots decided on the 8 and am glad I did. I placed in a lambswool insole for warmth and support and typically wear with thick socks. I can also wear my boot liners with room to wiggle my toes. When it is snowing or really cold I need the liners and with tight boots your toes get cold. I am able to wear my jeans and have no problems tucking them in. My calfs measure 14" and am able to get boots on and off with no problem. If your calfs are over 14 1/2" I think they may be too tight and rubber does not stretch. If you plan on putting in a liner wearing socks and a boot liner I recommend if you are a 1/2 size go up to the next full size. I ordered the dark olive and love the color. Hope these last longer than my Jules . I took off 1 star for lack of arch support.
