They are neat, they are not quite a boot, not quite a chukka, very cool.

I have a difficult time finding any shoes that will fit. My nursing shoes were a size 6 1/2 E width - so I have extremely wide feet. The width is in the foot itself and across the toes; and the heel is normal width. I normally have to purchase 2 sizes up (8 1/2 - IF I can even make that size work) and one and a half sizes up if I can find the shoes in a wide width. It is rare to find shoes that are nice looking AND in an extra wide width that are not uber expensive.) to get the width I need - and fill in with insoles.These are GREAT! I ordered a 7 1/2 Wide Width. They are COMFORTABLE and my toes are not jammed into the toes!!. The heel is a little loose, but nothing I can't fix with an insert. I am very pleased! I will be ordering this style in a different color! YAY!!

These are my initial thoughts after only wearing the boots for a few minutes so it may change when I wear them longer. I like the style, the color, the quality of the boots and they fit well in the toe area. Since I have wide feet it is very hard for me to find anything other than athletic shoes that fit right because most casual shoes aren't made in wide width. So, that was a deciding factor in keeping them despite the bad. So here's the bad...while they fit well in the toes, the back of the heel was rather loose. My foot actually seemed to slip up and down while walking even though the rest of the boot was snug. Hopefully, I will be able to find something to prevent this. Next, they just aren't comfortable due to the insole. The insole is not only cheap looking and feeling but hard, very thin in the front (5mm thickness), little arch support and though the heal area is thicker, it isn't padded at all. And maybe the worst part of the insole is the hard diamond shaped pattern covering the entire top and the fact that you feel every bump. The good news is, thankfully, the insoles are removable. If they weren't I would have returned the boots for sure. $75 boots should have a much better insole.

I wanted these for a while but wouldn't pay the price. After buying two pair of ankle boots that were half the price of these and returning them I finally went ahead and got what I really wanted. I love them! You can tell the instant your foot goes in the boot that they are well made and high quality. I had only worn them once before taking them on a 3 day trip to NYC and wore these most of the time. Walked 5 miles a day in them. My feet did get tired one of the days but these are not "walking boots" after all. Lol. These are too cute. I have borderline wide feet but not wide enough to need a wide size. I wear a 7 to 7.5 and always a 7.5 in athletic shoes and most boots. I got 7.5 in these and have plenty of room for medium weight socks and a thin insole. I would not have been happy with a 7. However, if you want to wear thin, no show socks with these you may want to stick with your smaller size especially if your foot is on the narrow side. As in if you are 7 to 7.5, go with the 7.

Shoes are well made and adorable - but wide size is NOT wide. So disappointing because I really want to love these. Other reviews mentioned a “sticky” layer, but my pair does not have this problem at all. The one working zipper is awkward because the one that works is on the outside. It would be so much more natural to be able to unzip the inner, with one foot on the other knee. The zipper issue is a minor annoyance, but the width issue is problematic for wide feet. I was happy to see these were sold in WIDE sizes, but…they just are not wide. At first, I thought maybe it was a shipping error, but nope, these are marked “wide.” The length, however is just right. I ordered my regular size, and the length fits well with a medium sock. I’d guess a narrow foot could wear the “regular” width, and a regular foot could wear the “wide” width…but for a true wide foot??? Maybe I will try to keep them hoping the leather will stretch (a lot,) but not sure if they will ever be comfortable for WALKING. But they sure look nice…for sitting!ADDING AN UPDATE: I think it's the insole that is problematic. Removing it and replacing with a flat "sports shoe" insole made a big difference. The insole that comes with the shoe has the "hidden wedge" adding height to the heel - maybe okay for those that are used to wearing high heels? But it takes up too much space, lifts the heel in the shoe, causing more pressure on the toes, and it consumes too much space in the entire shoe. I needed also to add some arch support underneath the replaced sport shoe insole. Quite a bit of work here to make these wearable, so I am leaving the "3-stars." But...but...in the end, they are finally good! If you normally replace an insole with an orthotic one, these may be great, because the provided (problematic) insole easily is removed and replaced. I will say they are so cute, and the leather is good quality. Good luck!

I loved the style and comfort of this shoe! They needed no “breaking in”. Put them on and wore them day!

I tired so many pairs that were either tight toe box or slipped in the heel, I had been looking at these for a while, reading the positive & negative reviews. I didn't want to pay over $75 for a pair of ankle boots.but finally decided to order them as just couldn't find a pair that fit right. Oh my gosh, I am SO ! glad I did. They fit perfectly, so comfortable, no heel slip and plenty of room in the toe. I have a kind of square type foot with a narrow heel. I like that the toe is not pointy. I always wear a 7 1/2 M. These are a perfect 7 1/2M, I would say they run very true to size. If you want to wear a thick sock then I would size up . If you are on the fence about trying these, they are worth the price. They are well made and do not look cheap. I wish I had ordered the navy also but now it's out stock :-(
