I purchased these gray boots, but under a certain light they looked taupe. So getting ready for work before sunrise can have challenging moments. lol. But they are gray and, after wearing them a couple of times to break them in, they are quite comfortable. Good purchase.

when I wore these the first time both heels came apart and lost the part while walking , noticed when I stepped onto hard floor versus carpet and heard loud clicking and felt funny , looked and no bottom of the heels - backtracked but couldnt fine the piecesI usually like LifeStride quality and fit , not so much on thesealso top came apart on one side
These are a nice looking pair of boots. Heel height is good. No zipper - these are a pull-on style. Size 7 fits mostly true to size, although for some reason my heel steps out of the ankle shaft when I walk. Very weird. Overall, the quality isn't as nice as I was expecting for the price. I like them, but I don't love them.

The bottom of the heels are cheap plastic that chipped the very first time I wore them. I literally walked from the valet drop-off into a restaurant and back to the valet after dinner. Poor craftsmanship!
