I have been hunting for the last eight months for a pair of wedding shoes that I felt were "me". I had not found a single pair that were what I wanted...Then I found these ones online and I was in love.A quick run-through of the other reviews and I ordered a size 11 (I'm a 10 wide). I was a little concerned that I would need to stretch them out because I have a wide foot.They fit perfectly! There is even room enough for my toes to wiggle. I can point my toes and flex my foot and the snaps remain firmly locked.As one reviewer said, they do look a little bit like doll shoes. But that is exactly what I was looking for so no problem thereTo sum up:PROS-They are great on a wide foot.They are insanely comfortable. (I'm still wearing them!)The snaps work fine for me. (Note: I'm wearing tights not socks.)Even the box they come in is BEAUTIFUL.CONS-They look like doll shoes/costume shoes.They run small. Order a size up.I'm so excited to walk down the aisle in December and these shoes are going to see a lot of events after that!
The only minor dislike is the fit around ankle is not loose. plus had trouble at first with buckling the boot until I figured it out . But, its a beautuful.boot and very comfy
I bought these shoes for a cosplay and they go well with it. I didn't expect these shoes to be very comfortable but I was pleasantly surprised that they were. I was able to wear these for hours with no aches or pain. I would definitely recommend them.
I actually bought these boots for a costume. Right boot fit ok but extremely wide. Left boot did t snap all of the snaps and it was just off in alignment and the to box was really uncomfortable. I ordered an entirely different pair for my costume and donated these to a costume shop.
I wear a 5, ordered a 6 since that's the smallest size available, and had resigned myself to the fact that when I need shoes like this for historical period shows, they're going to be too big. These actually fit me correctly!! I was very pleasantly surprised, but others may be unpleasantly surprised when they receive these. Please do order a size up from your usual size! Nice quality, has a padded insole, and the snaps stay snapped (so far, anyway!) I will try to find this brand when ordering historical shoes in the future.
This boot had snap closures that didn’t snap, I will have to take it to a shoe shop for repair.
I purchased these boots to go with my Victorian Walking habit. I wasn't sure what to expect as the price was so reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised! They are perfect. I wear a size 6 so bought a size 6M and they fit perfect and are very comfortable! The snaps were hard to do up at first, but I got the hang of them. I will be giving historic walking tours in my town and plan to wear them all day. Great buy for synthetic boots.
