If you have wide feet then you know that the wide widths that are generally offered in shoe stores lack any kind of style to them. It makes it frustrating when you have to size up to have a slightly wider width and then you end up stumbling because the shoes are too long. Propet was a brand I happened upon several months ago when I was looking for some combat style boots. I knew I’d return for more when my current ankle boots wore out and I have and I don’t regret it for a moment. They’re gorgeous, they fit, they’re well made, and they are affordable! I’ve found my shoe source FINALLY! I highly recommend and would give them a million stars if I could!
I have a high top of the foot, bunions, and narrow heel. Shoes either fall off easily or cause pain. These aren't the best shoes, but they don't cause me pain after 30 minute walks on concrete. They also don't look like elderly orthotic shoes...so good enough for me!Pro:-love the more masculine style in a woman's shoe-convenient removable footbed for my custom insoles-comfortable (when I wear thicker athletic socks)--With thinner "dress" socks, there was chafing on the top corner of my big toe.Con:-shoelaces easily untie-scuffs easily-even though it's a "wide" it's still a little tight. According to the sales person at a shoe store, my foot measurements are btw standard size and wide.
The boots is wide enough, finally! Super comfortable the first time I wore them. Look great and excellent quality. Love these boots! And I’ve had many many pairs of similar booties.

The style was cute and it fit fine; however, the leather was stiff and rubbed on the top of my foot/ankle. I am too empatient to wait for it to soften up!

I have terrible instep pain from years of wearing a certain type of clog. Closed dress shoes are impossible for me to find that don’t leave me with really uncomfortable foot pain. These are amazing. Because there are laces I can fasten them very loosely and not be in pain! (I have to skip laces over my instep on sneakers.)However, my feet are a little wide at the front and these are just on the edge of being roomy enough (the regular) if your foot is wider definitely order accordingly. Toe box is roomy. Overall so happy I could cry that I have dress shoes for winter!
This is a beautifully made boot, but it ran a little narrow for me and that was with buying a wide size. The toe box just wasn't quiet deep or wide enough for my foot. I didn't feel like it would stretch enough to be comfortable, so returning. It would be a fine boot for any regular size foot. It has a nice sole on it. Good for walking. The burgundy color is also beautiful. A deep rich hue, not bright. Very sad it didn't fit.
