Rocket Dog Women's Rainy Rain Boot, Black, 11 M US

These are super cute rain boots. They started off comfortable then last time when on my heel started to hurt a bit. I bought some heel cushion hopefully they help.

Haven’t had the chance to test them in water yet, but judging but the quality, should be good. The tongue is sealed most of the way up over the foot, but not all the way up the ankle . The size was roomy enough to add a thin gel cushion for extra comfort/arch support. They are good quality, but definitely more for fashion on an occasional rainy day, not for everyday work/ hiking type use but I could be wrong.

Nice quality, GREAT comfort, and keeps my feet dry. I love them so much, this is my 2nd pair.

First, let me say these are SUPER cute. I immediately fell in love with them when I opened the box. Putting my foot in it was a different story. Even with narrow, skinny feet, I had the same struggles others mention because the entry is VERY tight. I guess this aids in the waterproofing. Once on, they fit well and I was able to tighten the laces to get a snug fit. The cut of the tongue did cause rubbing after about 10 minutes of the first wear. I fixed this by folding my sock down to crest padding. I used them to hike a volcano in Costa Rica and don’t recommend lol. They are not for “off roading.” The sole is thin so I felt many of the rocks and my feet slid around quite a bit with the decline. On the plus side, the quality was amazing. No tears or damage after hiking miles on lava rock. It rained and I stomped through puddles with no issues. My socks were damp but that was because of the lack of airflow. Overall, I recommend for a rain boot but not for heavy hiking on rocky surfaces. Stick to the paved areas. Hopefully the shoe entry will loosen a bit over time and become easier. Annoying but not a deal breaker.

I originally tried these in my regular size but they were pretty big and one of the rivets was missing from the top laces so I went down a half size and that worked. Luckily the half smaller had everything put together well and fit much better. I how they have a casual shoe look as well and due to the material should do well on very rainy days.My first order was delivered outside my door rather than in the secure bin and were stolen. Just a caution to buyers hopefully your delivery peoples are following your instructions.

These boots seemed great when I bought them a little over 4 months ago, but when I went to pack them for a recent trip I discovered that they are transferring black ink everywhere from the bottoms of the boots. I tried washing them off to make sure it wasn't something I stepped in and it only made the ink leak worse once they got wet. Not ideal to be tracking ink everywhere, especially anytime they get wet (seeing as they're rain boots and all...) Waiting to hear back from RocketDog about a refund.

Runs a little small. There were some difficulties getting the boots on and off. Very comfortable once on. If you wear a half size and size down you will have to wear thinner socks. Overall good quality materials in these boots. Used these boots on a cruise in colder weather.

Update 2They aren’t long term comfy and broke a month after the last update. They are still a good purchase for a cute pair of rain bootsUpdateThey got a whole in the side of both shoes. They are not long term comfort. I won’t be getting another pair. I work in a dog grooming salon and wear these to work everyday. They are water resistant and kinda cute in a rain boot way. They aren't all the comfortable but I've never had a comfortable rain boot. After water gets in them it creates a seal so it takes a second to get off.I enjoy them definitely worth the money. If you have a job like mine I'd suggest getting gel inserts. If not they are great rain boots!
