So this is a GREAT boot - the slip resistant sole works excellent in the line of work I'm in. I work on a steel platform in frigid temperatures and slippery surfaces. However, a chunk of the sole is ripping off. I wanted to rate it as 5 stars because of the comfort, ankle support and safety toe, but the durability of the sole didn't meet my expectations. My timberland pro boots lasted longer before the soles began to fail. I undestands soles wear down, but I haven't had these for a year and I had high expectations of being able to handle any terrain or surface.
