I was way confused with the sizing. Big kids, little kids, was I getting a toddler shoe or what? I think this was my biggest frustration! But after many reviews & a leap of faith... My daughter is 7y/o and generally a kid's size 2, depending on the type of shoe. I decided to go a little bigger and purchased a "big kids size 3." While they are a bit loose still, she was able to wear them right out of the box and LOVED THEM!! The color & texture are absolutely stunning!! Definitely girly girl glitter but not so much so that it takes away from the rest of the outfit (at least to me/us). I find too that the boots are tasteful.. If they had them in my size, I'd like a pair too. Ha!Jeans can be tucked inside the boot or worn outside and they look equally stylish (you know how sometimes decorative boots look weird when some parts are covered up?? if that makes sense but not in this case).Lastly, as a mom, I really like the fact that these are a squared toe meaning my little girl's toes are not squished and crammed into a little point, creating bunions & other harmful foot damage from wearing shoes that have no room for her toes. Roper did fantastic work here!

My granddaughter loves horses, so boots have been a staple in her life from her first pair at 1year old. But these Roper boots were the first pair of QUALITY boots she ever had, with all the others being Target/Walmart price range.For Christmas 2018, when she was 6, and her boot love showed no signs of fading, I decided to spend a little more, so I bought these in her favorite color (turquoise). That was 18 months ago, and today I got a text from my son that she was sad because they no longer fit. She bore the pain one more day to wear them one last time.These boots were outgrown and NEVER wore out! The glittery stones never wore off, and they show signs of wear, certainly, because they’ve been worn for school, for outside play, riding dirt bikes, walking with horses in a dirt arena on a farm, and every other adventure that a midwestern 6-7 year old active, slightly tomboyish, but still girly-girl could imagine.The picture I got of her sad face today, her last day wearing these cherished boots, has me back buying the next two sizes, so she’ll have them to enjoy for at least another three years.Highly HIGHLY recommended for fashion, playing outside, and definitely made to last!!

My 4 year old daughter LOVED these. She wouldn't take them off. They are really durable and they lasted almost 1 year.They were heavily used and lasted for a long time all things considered. Even the sparkles stayed. I ended up having to toss them when the heal finally popped open from her rough and tumble use of these shoes. She used these through rain, shine, mud, at the park, on the farm at her school, and up and down the state. She wore these out until they finally gave up and died. I secretly had to toss them because my daughter would have been so upset. I'd buy these again in a heart beat but now my girl is off in different direction with her style of clothing and now wants something with unicorns.

We took a chance on these boots buying them for our granddaughter's birthday. They are even cuter in person! She likes wearing them. They are sparkly, and they don't look cheap. Highly recommend!

my daughter is over the moon, these are so cute, i like that there is good grip on the soles and the square toebox for foot comfort but she has only had them two weeks and the cute pattern is already rubbing off

Runs big. My daughter is 12-13 and I got her 13 but they look like 1 or even 2s. She loves them so much though and the quality is amazing I will order another pair and keep those until they fit.

These boots are very nice, and really really cute. The boot itself is soft compared to some others that I have bought. They do have square toes which makes them a wider fit, so narrow feet be warned. The colour is exactly as shown and My Daughter loves them very much. The sizing for us is exactly as expected as my daughter just got sized at an actual shoe store. Overall they were packaged great for shipping and they are really nice boots. I would recommend.
