I ordered these boots because they seem like the perfect option for fall wear. These boots hit right around the top of the ankle, where it meets the calf and taper to a slightly rounded toe box. These run slightly narrow, so if you have wider feet I would recommend sizing up a half size for the best fit. I usually wear a 7.5 but these fit fairly well in an 8. The heel cup is fairly narrow still, so if you have wide feet, you will need to be careful breaking these in to avoid blisters. For narrow feet and ankles, these should be super comfortable right out of the box.The boots are super high quality and the packaging it comes in is fairly luxe. It has dust covers for the boots to keep them nice, and were well packed if you wanted to gift someone these boots.I do have bigger ankles, so when I wear these I have to be careful not to get chaffed at the top of the boot where it presses against my legs, and I have to wear thicker socks to keep my heels protected, but they do feel really nice on the bottoms of my feet, as far as support goes. The quality is good and I would recommend them, but mostly just for those with narrow feet and ankles. There are better options for those with wider feet or larger ankles.Overall, I have to be
These boots are cute, simple classic chelsea boots for any occasion. They hit right at the ankles. Wouldn't recommend if you have wide feet since the front of the shoe goes inward/pointed so definitely feel like it fits better for normal or more narrow feet. Be weary that if you have larger feet that these boots might look a little long? I think again it's because of that pointed toe part. Went up a half size than my usual which was a good decision.
I like these boots in theory, as they’re very nicely constructed and look quite expensive (and they were very nicely packaged as well). However, they are really not for wide or fat feet or ankles as they are very narrow and a little pointy at the toes. I had a hard time getting them in and off and in the end, they just weren’t for me. My daughter had narrower feet and skinnier ankles and seems to really like them, and says that they are quite comfortable as well, and I like that they’re a little on the dressy side but I can still get her to wear them!
This boot is gorgeous in person. I can wear an 8 or 8.5 depending on the brand (my feet run a little wide). I went with an 8 in these and they absolutely do not fit. These seem narrower than a typical boot all around, not just the ball of foot area. The heel seems narrower than normal, too. I would need to size up to at least a 9 in this shoe. They would be a perfect gift. These are packaged like a luxury item, but they are a more affordable price - the boots come in individual bags, there is a booklet with info about the item and company, designer name on the tissue paper, nice quailty box... it's a great unboxing experience. They do have a strong smell when you open the box. These aren't leather, so it's not that fresh leather smell, but it's not unpleasant. The quality seems nice. I knocked them around a little bit, and they didn't scuff. The upper material and sole are both flexible. The sole is a nice material and seems alright - they are a nice thickness and look timeless, not too chunky/clunky.Since they don't fit whatsoever, I can't speak to comfort, so your mileage may vary. They seemed okay from the limited walking around in them that I could do (I couldn't even get my heel flat).
I ordered this bootie in my normal size 8. It was beautifully packaged, each boot individually bagged with plenty of filler stuffing the shoes. The instep is a little tight when putting on and when wearing, and I normally don’t have issues with that. The overall width is a little narrow as well, though my foot does run a little wide. These also need a decent break-in period. These are a really nice looking boot, and would look great with skinny jeans or skirts. The soles are grippy, and give a rugged touch to a boot that can also be worn to the office. I do think the uppers will loosen up at some point, but there isn’t much padding in the sole. Maybe I can find some inserts to provide support and cushioning, but they’ll need to be lower profile. These are top notch from a quality standpoint, which is reflected in the price point, I just wish they molded to my feet a little bit more.
I normally wear a US women’s 7.5 but ordered Sam Edelman’s Chelsea boots in 8. They fit fairly well for half a size bigger; not too wide but just a little long.Pros:-I like the height of the top of the boot completely covering the ankle.-The stretchy section is perfect for on/off and walking.-The decorative pull tan is also functional.-The bottom tread is light chunky: not platform but not cardboard thin either.Cons:-3 digits seems excessive for synthetic leather that creases day 1.-I dripped something on the toe of a boot and when I wiped it off black dye came off easily.Recommendation:I like these boots. The brand is reputable and the Chelsea is a classic. However, with the easily rubbed off black dye and faux leather, I probably would not spend over one hundred if I had a do-over.
I just wanted some basic black boots for this fall and winter. These fit the bill. No extra detailing or decoration. They will go with everything. They fit nice and are comfortable.
I never heard of this brand/designer, but they look super well made boots, and they are heavy. Put feel in and out is a bit of struggle as the leather is so hard. I ordered size up, but they are still tight. They are especially tight on width. I'm guessing they might stretch, but of I knew these are so hard and tight, I might have not ordered. If you have narrow feet, you'll be okay. Otherwise these are really good looking boots that can be worn with many outfits!
