Excellent fit. Went up a half-size per recommendation. Slipped on and off no problem. Sturdy, but comfortable.
Love them, great price, comfortable and great traction. I had read previous reviews about the size running a little large so I ordered a size down and they're perfect because I like to wear my thick woolly socks. Thanks everyone for your reviews they are so helpful
I'm a size 11.5 in a good shoe, such as an Ecco, so even though some reviewers said the boots ran a little large I opted for a size 12. When I ordered my Muckboots a few years ago they were also a bit large in a size 12, so I wear two pair of socks with them. Other shoes I have, such as Nike sneakers are a size 12 and fit perfectly, and other shoes I wear are a size 13. It's hit or miss with sizing.I'd have to wear four pair of socks with these boots. In hindsight a size 11 would likely have fit better. I needed the boots now to do some cleanup work in the swampy part of our property, so I'm just dealing with the size, and with one pair of socks. I'm not finding it that much of a problem. If I had to work in them all day every day I would have returned them for a different size.As others have mentioned, they have a really bad odor and should be left somewhere out of the house to outgas. I leave mine on a screened porch.I feel these boots are well designed. There's a little ledge on the back you place your other foot on to help get the boot off. The tops are plenty wide for me to keep my jeans comfortably tucked in. And even though they're a size too large they stay on, even when walking in muck. I walked out part way onto a beaver dam to remove some of it to lower the water level in the pond and never felt unstable, even when water began rushing around the boots. They grip well.Overall, I like these boots and would buy them again. They are half the price of the Muckboot, a boot which develops difficult to repair cracks on the upper surface. I knocked off one star for the horrible smell. I would definitely buy them again but a size smaller.
Never got a refund from the company after I returned these. The foot fit well, but I got these big muscular biker calves, and the opening on these just wasn't wide enough.
Much better than what we had before which were all rubber. These are a little taller and more room, tougher material, and I like the toughness of the sole.
Bought for my stepson because I have had a pair for myself for years, mostly for rainy muddy days - or deep snow which we seldom get in Texas, but when we do these are a must-have. My husband and stepson work installing septic systems and when needed, these are tough and very durable.
Arrived on time and as expected. Good fit. Really like the tabs above the heal that greatly facilitate removal.
Excellent protection from rain and snow. The fit seems okay, which is saying a lot because my shoe size is 11E (Wide!) so this boot in a size 12 has worked out well. As for protection from the cold, I haven't tested it out in sub-zero temperatures yet, but I'm not expecting any miracles. In my experience, when wearing rubber boots I still need very warm socks, which isn't a problem. The only reason I'm less than thrilled with this pair is because it's not as easy to slide my feet into while standing like I used to do with the pair of traditional Canada rubber boots that I wore for decades before this. That's because the sides close in at the top when I'm not wearing them. If they would stay open like my old Canada's, they'd be easier to work with. The other drawback to having the sides tend to move together is that the top edge chafes against my shin as a result.
