I've bought multiple different shoes and boots for hiking over the past few years, but was never really happy with any of them. They're usually too bulky, or just not comfortable, so I decided to try these since all of my regular shoes are Skechers, and I really don't know why I waited so long to try the brand I love. Not only are they not bulky like the other hiking boots/shoes I've tried, but they have a nice design, and are extremely comfortable.
Pros: These shoes were lightweight but still feel protective with a thick sole and high ankle. They are easy to wear and can be used for many activities.Cons: The insoles are less plush than other brands thus may benefit from inserts if you have high arches.
I like these hikers a lot, but after 3 miles my feet were sore. I’m pretty sure it’s my feet and not the shoe though because I have feet issues. I am a fan of sketchers with shock absorbers in them and these do not have that feature which I knew when I bought them.I will still wear them for short term occasions but I won’t hike in them again. I’ll wear my regular sketchers with the shock absorbers in them. I’m still on the hunt for a hiking shoe that doesn’t break the bank and gets the job done…. Without too terribly painful of feet when it’s over.If you don’t have feet issues, these would likely be just fine for you.
Excellent hiking shoes for the price. Very comfy memory foam insole. Sizing is accurate with plenty of space in the footbed. Ankle support is necessary for me and that’s why I chose this style. Can’t say much about durability or water proof yet as I haven’t gotten to wear them in water/rain yet. For the price it’s a great shoe!
This is my first hiking pair of shoes. I have always liked Skechers and decided to try these. I used another style from Skechers and wasn’t happy with it for hiking. I tried these and they are comfortable and provides support to my ankles during rocky hikes. It’s has memory foam, good grip, and secures your ankles on the trails. Our hike had flat surface, dirt, rocks and going uphill. Overall, great pair and doesn’t hurt my feet. Used it once so we shall see how many more trails I get out of this pair.
These boots rock, they are a great color combo and super light weight. They are water proof so great for rainy days. They fit good and are flexible, would buy again! True to size.
These boots are light but mighty! They are extremely comfortable and provide the support you need. After hours of hiking my feet used to be painful no more with my new boots!
Nice boots. Seemed to be sturdy though little more “clunky” than what I thought they would be. They run small so had to return.
