Went up a half size and it was a perfect fit with boot socks!
The shoe is slim and very skinny around the toes to yhe middle of the foot and in the back on the heel it is skinny and tight and I got a size 5 my regular size for all my shoes maybe I have to break them in for them to get loose but I really just want a bigger size
My feet are NOT wide at all, but I ended up with a big blister after just one day of wearing these boots. While they are stylish and cute, they are extremely narrow and tight around the heels. The ease of breaking them in seems to vary depending on the shape of your feet; in my case, it resulted in blisters. Some reviews mention the material being hard, but from my experience with four pairs of Sorel boots, this seems to be characteristic of the brand, especially for their waterproof models. The durability and protection come with a firmer feel, which might require a period of adjustment.
Love these shoes in mountains of Colorado. My home. Shoveled the driveway after work today. No time to change shoes and the traction was amazing. My driveway is STEEP. These are great work shoes (teacher) and recess shoes and they look beautiful. Mud wiped off. Compliments all day. At first they were thick, but realized the sole is amazing for winter. Wish I owned another color too. Not in my budget.Note/ I MUST wear higher socks. They rubbed my skin once when my socks fell down below the ankle and I walked all day. So I check that I’m wearing thicker higher socks now.
I wished I had sized down. I got a size 6.5 (my regular size, and should’ve ordered a 6 instead.The style makes my feet look bigger than what they are.The quality is great!
Haven't tested them directly in puddles but these babies are definitely water resistant! They are stunning, even better irl than in pics. They did require some breaking in: I recommend wearing them carefully the first few times with thick socks to protect your shins. Afterwards they are very comfortable. Size is exactly as expected.
This style looks great but the fit is awful! It is very narrow in the front and loose in the heel. I called Sorel’s customer service asking if the shoe would have a better fit if I went up a full size. They said no, because it would only get longer, not wider. It’s a shame because it really is a great looking boot.
These boots were just delivered today. I have been wearing them around the house and I do not want to take them off. I do not find them too tight as some other reviews have mentioned. They are very comfortable and I think they will be perfect for the upcoming winter season.
