Wearing these instead of slippers inside the house, but with the support of a shoe, and it can be worn as a shoe. Not sure I'd wear them in the rain. Good quality. The puffy insulation might be too warm in summer. As others have noted, there is a confusion about women's vs men's in the product listing and sizing. I wear a men's size 12 or 12-1/2. I ordered size 13 and it fit, but just barely. (Very comfortable, but the fit is exact, no slack.) At that size, the shoe is easy to take off, but a little difficult to put on, unless with a shoehorn. With those notes, I like these and they feel like they will be durable.
I was glad to see the official product listing had clearer instructions on sizing, as when I ordered from Vine, there wasn't as much information and I took a chance on sizing. Should have picked some lotto numbers that day, as these turned out to be a near-perfect fit.My mother had several pairs of Sorels in the past, all of which I envied, so I was anxious to try a pair for myself.They're higher-end footwear, and they're built like it. They should hold up to many winters of slipping on and off.For my size 9 (women's) foot, these feel a *little bit* close in the toes. That could be simply because of the design (when I buy tennis shoes with sloping toes they don't always initially fit my Dutch toes).Barefooted, there was just enough room for a med/thin sock, so I suspect these will feel a little narrow on men's feet? They do have some give to them, so after some wear, it might be more of a Cinderella fit.There wasn't as much arch support as I'd expected, but again, man's shoe/woman's foot issue, so not necessarily a deal-breaker - deducting half a star on those grounds just because it's a bit of an investment.I hope to update in a couple months to relate how well they wear and how they conform to my "as shoeless as possible!" summer feet that must now go into hiding under socks and shoes.
My brother shoe size is 15 and this fits him perfectly. Only thing he stated that the seem around the show can feel a big annoying at first but after a while the sensation disappeared. He love how warm they are
While the title says "men", the description says "women", so I went directly to the Sorel site and found that these are unisex but sold in MEN'S SIZES; therefore, I ordered a men's 7 and they fit my women's size 8.5 feet perfectly! I already own (and love!) quite a few Sorel styles, so I knew the quality would be great even if I could only wear these as house slippers.But WOW, what fun shoes! Sure, they're fine as slippers you can also wear to the mailbox or walk the dog, but they're absolutely CUTE to wear in public with jeans and sweats. And as a hiker, these are PERFECT for wearing around the campfire with a pair of wool socks to relax your feet after a long day on trail.The only reason they're not 5 stars for me is the lack of arch support -- it's a high quality, supportive and cushioned sole, but the inside is absolutely flat (and no room for orthotics if you need them). So while I can't wear them for long stretches, I can definitely enjoy them for a few hours at a time! Otherwise, the top is soft and puffy but not loose or floppy, the back looks low but actually covers the heel and doesn't slip down, and the loop is large enough to be functional and handy to pull them on.So... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, but to order in a women's size, just reduce the number by 1.5 to get the correct size. (10 women is 8.5 men, for example)
The description of these was confusing but I assumed they were men’s and ordered for my son. We love the brand and were excited to get them. Unfortunately they were sent in the wrong size. However, he is still growing so he may be able to wear them some day. They look like a puffer jacket. They have a very soft lining that would keep your feet warm. The soles make them the perfect slipper to wear around the house and then to the garage or mailbox.
I really like these shoes. they are warm, comfortable and waterproof. The problem is with their sizing. They said women's sizes, so I ordered an 11. They are way too big, but not a men's 11 either (I checked with my brother). They fit as long as I wear cabin socks, but they are still a bit too big. Really nice shoes. If they could figure out sizing, I would recommend them more.
Good versatile slippers- very impressed with all Sorel lately- these slippers look great, are constructed very well, are warm, and are pretty versatile to run outside now and then with them on. They do however run narrow which is why I took a star off.
