These boots look sturdy and the color is cute. My daughter is 5 and is wearing a size 10 right now. I ordered a size 11 for her. The boots are light weight. They resemble high top sneakers. I got them for her thinking it would be helpful for snowstorms, but we will be testing that theory!
Giving a 4-star rating because I'm sure it is normal Stride Rite quality, but wanting to clue in other buyers to some features. We were looking for something that wouldn't fall off my girls feet as her current shoes keep coming off when she walks. This would definitely fit the bill. It is a high top sneaker, and has enough padding to be comfortable but not enough to be a snow boot.I had the hardest time telling online if this was what i wanted (a high sneaker, as it is) or meant for snow, so just another note if you are considering for snow: to make it easier to put on, the front and back separate all the way down to the sole. They overlap so maybe it would be fine, but they would not be waterproof because of that aspect.And finally, I was excited for this because it looked feminine without hot pink or glitter. Well, I opened the box and the layer under the mesh is holographic. When the light hits it, it is shiny rainbow. Not for us. I may return and get the brown version, but WHY, Stride Rite? It was perfect without that!
Love these shoes, they are better in person. My daughter loves the sparkles too. They are super comfortable
These are cute and they would be perfect for our son with AFO braces... HOWEVER... these are NOT BIG KID sizes as they say!!! These are all TODDLER sizes!! We ordered a 7M BIG KID and they are the size of my hand! Literally! Be careful of the sizes as all of them listed are actually TODDLER... not for school aged children! We had to return them obviously.
These are the most comfortable sneaker/boot we have had for our daughter! She loves to put them on everyday, no matter the weather, they serve the purpose
