These boots have it all. Comfort, quality, style, warmth.. with thick socks. I am very happy with my purchase. I wear 8.5 or 9 and ordered 9 glad I did.
I tried a bunch of chelsea boots. I wanted a pair for New York, for potential rain, warmth, style, non-slip sole and walking comfort. These were immediately comfortable where many others were at least a little tight in the forefoot. I am a medium size 8 and almost always wear a 8.5 in running shoes but size 8 was perfect for me. Didn’t even try on the 8.5 I ordered. I do have a high arch. These were about an inch taller in the shaft than several others and I think it looked better with the slim pants I intend to wear

I found the sizing problematic with these. I normally wear a 9 or 9.5. In these the nine felt too small, so I opted for 9.5 thinking i would wear thick socks, maybe add an insole, but thick socks my foot still slides around, giving me blisters, and insert crams the toe space too much. I think these will be best for people with narrower foot. They are pretty comfortable otherwise and look nice in a timberland way. Haven’t had a chance to test waterproofness yet, which was main feature I bought them for.
