These Chelseas seem to be made of quality material. The leather is smooth and velvety. The soles have decent grip to various surfaces. The silver buckle is a nice touch. When I ordered this, the height increase was not what drew me to this. I liked the look and style of these. The first time I wore these, my shins were burning by the end of the day.Because of the wedge in the heel, most of my weight is on my toes as I walk. Also, I have a hard time walking like I normally would, rolling my foot from heel to toe as I walk. Since I'm on my toes, it seems like I'm always landing toes first as I walk and not heel first. I'm sure I have to get used to it, but since I'm not worried about the height increase, these probably won't get frequent wear from me. These are a great pair of boots regardless.

The boots are hard to get into.I’m hoping the elastic relaxes a bit so it becomes easier to put on.Once they were on they fit just fine on an average width foot.The boots look nice and are suede.They come with an extra set of insoles and a plastic shoe horn.A while back the hidden heel was a trend for women, these are just like those.I got these for my husband because he likes this style of boot.I didn’t realize these were height increasing boots but he doesn’t mind.He likes the boots and says they’ll take some getting used to the heel.They do discreetly increase your height a few inches.They do click on hard floors like hard sole heels do.

After wearing these out multiple times I must say that I like them a lot. Walking with the lift took a little getting used to but it is not uncomfortable. The quality of these boots is really good, the materials and craftsmanship are premium. I love the look and style. They pair great with some black jeans and are just different enough to make a statement. The boots also come with an extra pair on insoles and a shoe horn which is a nice bonus because I really needed one. Overall I am happy with these despite my blunder with reading the product description. For the money these boots are a deal especially if you want something with a lift in them, 5/5!
