These boots are great, I got them to replace a past pair of Twisted X boots and these did not disappoint. Great support, quality leather, sturdy sole with a heel you could use for riding. The boots hardly weigh anything and are true to size. These are my go-to shoes right now.
They are not water proof but they keep the road dirt out, which most important to me. I also like a large toebox which these have, so they are perfect.
The photos are deceptive, the toe box is VERY wide-appearing... but in reality, my narrow foot is perfectly comfortable and doesn't slide around. 4 stars because I just received them, and need to see how durable they are. 5 stars for comfort and no break-in time required. They don't say they arexwater-proof or resistant, so I'll treat accordingly. Be prepared, though, for the almost-clownish appearance of the toe box. I've other Twixted X boots with the same wide-toe box, but if you're okay with the look, you most likely will LOVE these boots!
As others have stated, no breakin period, just put on and go. Love the roomy toe box! These are back up for when other Twisted X similar boots give out. That style was discontinued. I have several different Twisted X boots/chukars/driving mocks and LOVE Twisted X!
These boots had virtually no break in time and were comfy right away. They didn’t stay looking new very long but they seem very sturdy. The toe box is WIDE but my foot which is average doesn’t slip. I could easily wear regular or thick wool socks. Love these!
These shoes need no break in period!
Twisted X is the best boot out there. The wide foot base and square type toe makes the most comfortable boot in my profession…very pleased. I have worn the pull one for a few years now…these are my first lace ups and they are the best!
I love my Twisted-X boots and shoes. They are comfortable for my wide, older feet and they don't need any "break in" time. I rate them with 5 stars for sure!
