Shipping was very efficient and the shoe looks very good. However, the fitting was not right. I ordered size 9.0 and ended up with too much extra space past my toes. It felt more like a size 10.5, I had to send it back.
Comfortable but large

Face it: a $40 pair of Chelsea boots is going to be a failure. That's just economics. These are a little bit worse than I expected, but I realized I should have adjusted my expectations after having looked at the $150 pair of Thursday Chelseas which my wife just purchased. Incidentally that's also a reasonable price, not expensive for good boots by any means. These are just all-out cheap: the feel, the look, the materials, everything seems like a puff of wind or a splash in a puddle on the streets of Seattle will cause them to just effervesce and vanish off your feet. I'd stay away if I were you.
These are very well made leather zip-ups that are pretty comfortable and fit just about as expected (I typically wear an 11 and the 11 I ordered is a touch long but not overly so…they fit about like an 11.5 pair I have). The soles, insoles, leather, zippers, elastic/stretch material, and stitching throughout are all pretty high quality for such a reasonable selling price. The box was a little beat up (the actual shoe box) but that’s not a huge deal…just a curious observation. Overall though, the shoes themselves are really well made and nice. Time will tell how long they last and how the initial appearance compares to long term wear but I’m very pleased with these so far.
They look good, but thats the only upside to these. I ordered 10.5 (us sized) and thats what I recieved and is depicted on the label of the box and shoes. They are huge!! When I put them on, I can slide my foot forward in them nearly two inches. Highly disappointed
These are beautiful boots. While I can't speak to their longevity, my husband and I were both very impressed with these boots, particularly for their current price of $39.99. If you're someone who can't afford to spend upwards of $200 on leather boots, we feel that these are a great option. They look just beautiful. The sheen on the manmade upper gives the appearance of a nice leather dress shoe. The zipper is sturdy and works well. There's a memory foam insole that offers a nice amount of cushion. The rubber sole has some traction and tread. All in all, a well made, stylish, inexpensive option for a dress boot. We highly recommend.
