Style. I purchased these on sale and they look much more expensive than they actually were. The brown leather is a nice color and they work well with skinny jeans.Fit. I ordered my usual size 8 (sometimes Vionic runs large) and they fit perfectly with wool socks. If you are planning on wearing thinner socks, these may be on the large size. I have foot issues and am extremely limited in the styles of shoe I can wear comfortably - these are incredibly comfortable out of the box.
I bought these to replace another pair just like them. After 2 years of pretty consistent fall/winter wear, my last pair were in need of replacement. I love the look and more importantly the feel of these boots. I suffer from pretty severe plantar fasciitis. These boots are extremely comfortable and help alleviate some of the pain.
I wore these for a trip and we shopped all day. They remained comfortable until the end of the second day when the tops rubbed my ankle. To be fair I have wider ankles and my socks were too low. If I wore higher socks I wouldn't have had a problem. My feet were comfortable and the arch support is great. I have high arches and I am always looking for shoes that support them. Great shoe, no scuffs so i think they will hold up nicely.
After reading some of the reviews, I went ahead and ordered a half a number larger than my actual shoe number. It was large, so I order my number and it fits perfectly. These boots are stylish, yet they go well with any pant. The color is just right and accurate with the pictures. It supports my foot very well; thus my lower back feels very comfortable. I love Vionic shoes. I have casual and Sneakers an now these boots. Awesome!
This shoe is amazing!! I wore it to work where I stand for hours and me feet did not hurt at all. No break in needed. I did have to wear thin socks but that is the only downside. One of the best purchases I've made in a long time. My feet have really thanked me for it.
These boots are the perfect mix of style and support. They fit perfectly (I’m a pretty standard size 7) and are very supportive. I am a teacher and am on my feet all day and also have plantar fasciitis. My foot feels significantly better when I wear these vs. boots without the arch support. The one complaint I have is that I’ve worn them less than 10 times and the coloring on the toes is already starting to wear down (see picture). I would expect for the price to have a bit better quality.
I purchased these Vionic booties to wear on a 11 day trip to Europe. I have a torn posterior tibial tendon in my foot and have trouble walking without pain. I own a pair of Vionic slippers as well as Vionic flip flops, and noticed when I wear those shoes my foot injury feels fine. So, I decided to buy these boots. My goodness, I am not disappointed! Not only are they fashionable and cute (I have received several compliments on them), they support my injured foot in a way that I don't experience pain. Its awesome! I wore the boots every day of my vacation, sometimes walking 8 to 9 miles a day.To be honest, I did end up having some pain in my foot about 7 days into the trip, but that is because I shouldn't have been overdoing it, not because of these boots. My only complaint would be the boots easily scuff and the heel has worn down already. Again, I was walking a lot on them but I would have loved to see them last longer for the high cost.If you have foot pain and want a shoe that is not only supportive but also very trendy looking, purchase these!
Not true to size. If you are a Vionic fan than you know they run big! Open toed sandals run a size larger and the booties Thatcher run just as large. I wear a 7.5 normally. Size 6.5 in open toed or flip flop sandals in Vionic. Booties I ordered size 7 since I will be wearing a Simi heavy sock. Vionic snicker a size smaller also.
