We purchased the same size shoe my son rents and it fit perfectly. He says they feel great. He has climbed in them several times and no complaints. Not sure the longevity of them, but kids feet grow so quickly I think they will outlast him.
This is the new "updated" version of the venga. What was once a great shoe they have now made into garbage. Bring back the old venga.Doesn't even come close to the old style. And the sizing is wacky and they make it difficult to return. Just save your money and find a new shoe. Shame on you evolv.
Ordered a size up for my son (size 2) and the shoes are a hair bigger than the toddler size 10s we have. Wish I would have known that they weren’t free to return before purchasing because I just wasted $7 on return shipping.
Great climbing shoe. My daughter loved hers. Unfortunately the sizing is really weird. My daughter wears a size 12 shoe normally. I had talked with her climbing instructor about getting climbing shoes and she said to go up a size to give her room to grow and still be snug. So we originally ordered size 13. We could not get them on her feet. When I finally held it up to the bottom of her foot to see if it would so on, all of her toes hung off the end of the shoe. With the hard soles, these definitely would not have fit her, so I sent it back. Returns were super easy. We ordered a size 2. They are still really snug, which is what you want, with very little room to grow, and still a bit of a struggle to put on. However the Velcro and strap is great, the quality of the shoe is great, and my daughter loves them. Just know that you’re going to have to work on getting the proper size for your little one’s feet.
