I have a pair of la sportiva tarantulaces in EUR 38.5 that were a bit big and had too much air pocket in the toe box. I ordered these in EUR 38, and the shoe is over an inch shorter, length wise in comparison. Even accounting for the "bend".My foot length from heel to top of toe is 241mm. Putting me squarely in a street shoe size of around EUR 37.5. I have long, bony, narrow feet with high arches. Despite these shoes being so physically painful to put on, to the point where they almost cut off my circulation:1. I found the heel cup came up too high for me on these.2. There was a pocket of air under my arch.3. Additionally there was still a pinky-finger sized gap between the top of the shoe and my upper foot. Indicating that they were still too roomy I guess? Well it is definitely just that the last of this shoe does not match my foot shape.I will not take stars away from the shoe just because it didn't fit me personally. I am sure they are a dream shoe for others with different feet. I can say that the friction on these was way better than my tarantulas. They were nice and soft, and the toe rubber felt very sticky and substantial! For the price, I think it's a great option.Even if these shoes were to stretch, it would not be length wise, which is what I need. Hopefully this helps!
