My husband likes the price, the durability and buys them about once a year in his job. He's on his feet all day. He usually gets a new pair every year. He'll complain everytime he gets a different brand. He just seems to love this brand. He can destroy shoes in no time! A trait He's passed down a swear they walk with one toe up. So the fact they last more than a month tells you how these are well made.
My boots came in different condition, moreover it seems that the boots were manufactured in different years according to the codes on the insoles. It seems that both boots were used as sample footwear.
The boot fits good. Good feel in the heel cup. Across the ball of the foot area it is a little snug. The straps are nice for putting the boot on. I can not commit of the durability. I bought these on a recommendation of a friend who has hunted in these boots in Africa and had no problems. He will be on his 4th trip in these boots this year. So they seem like they should be durable.They are not water proof. I will be taking a second pair of water proof boots with me on my trip
Rating it 4 stars only because I have feeling these won’t make it a year working In a corrections line of work. Very comfortable would recommend!
Recommend only getting these for cold climates. Tried wearing them in Florida and felt as if my feet were on fire.
I don’t dislike these boots - I’m not going to say they’re great eitherI’ve got long very narrow feet (13) - the length fit as expected- but I had to put inserts into them due to my arches - time will tell - I wear them every day- evidently they take a while to get broken in
These boots are definitely one of the most comfortable I have worn other than my timberland valor 8s. When I got them I was extremely pleased. But after about a week of walking 24000+ steps a day the fabric interior of the heel on the boot began to rip and totally wreck my heels first it was the right boot & left followed. about 3 weeks now and the rubber bottoms are starting to separate. Pretty disappointing because these boots were utterly comfortable and warm for being in the cold. I’ll attach some photos for you to see for your self. At work I average about 24000 steps a day or more. Was really hoping these would last especially for the price point. Thinking about returning them. I’ve been working through the heel pain of both boots now because of the warmth factor but be cautious if you do a lot of walking/running for work.
Absolutely 💯 super comfortable I recommended them to a lot of my military buddies and civilian law enforcement officers too.
