As the previous reviewer said, these run very big. I am a 6, but even after adding a whole insert and thick socks, I was still walking right out of these. I returned them for the 5.5 and were still big, but I knew a 5 would squeeze the rest of my foot. I think the problem is that these have a thick, cushioned insole that is elevated, which is why you are lifting out of the shoe. I’ve been looking high and low for a black lug sole loafer that was real leather, which is so hard to find! I’m going to try one more time to add an insert and thicker socks. Fingers crossed!
These are very cute. The big buckle is pretty but kinda loud in just the few steps I took with these. I’m a pretty solid size 6. These are so big my heel doesn’t touch the back of shoe. I tried with thicker socks and still my heels come right out. This is not the Aerosole that I am familiar with. Arrived poorly packaged. Little to no packing papers in the box…shoes jostling around in box, which was busted as well due to poor packaging. Thankfully this was a Try Before You Buy cause these are going right back and I would have no clue what size would fit.UPDATE:I reordered in a size 5. These are much narrower than the 6, but my heel still slips out. I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in, or get a shoe stretcher so they didn't squeeze my toes, since they really hurt the toe-toes. Returned these as well. Such a bummer because these are really cute. I think my heel would still slip in a 5.5, but probably would have not hurt my toes. However, giving up and continuing my search for another lug heeled loafer.
