Birkenstock Women's Yao Hex 42 Narrow Pink Patent BF

I have been wanting Birkenstocks for a while now, but I couldn't get over the bulky, unattractive look of the sandal, and I didn't want a "thong" type sandal, either. When I saw these, I loved the look of the slimmer, cris-cross straps (with no straps between the toes, yay!), so I decided now's the time to finally buy! I wear a size US 8M, and the size 39 fit me very well, only maybe *slightly* looser with room in back of the footbed. I was worried the first day or two when my feet felt pretty sore after wearing these, but then I read that's part of the breaking-in process. I'm happy to report that after wearing these for about 3 weeks, I no longer have that foot pain, and they have formed to my foot shape perfectly. I never have back pain when I wear these, which is saying a lot since I have hyperlordosis. I wear these as often as I can get away with - they are my happy feet shoes. The white color is perfect for summer. The buckles looked rose-gold in the picture, but I'd definitely say they look more copper in real life. I still like them, though! If you're considering these shoes, just do it! You'll be happy!

When I ordered these I was a bit concerned the fit wouldn't be right. I ordered a 37M but when it was in the cart it read 37N. So I was happy they fit great and I'm a medium width. I love the style, it's different from other Birkenstock" and are super cute in my opinion. The straps are not suede but they look durable. They were mailed in a plastic bag with the shoe box inside, the box was a bit crushed but didn't effect the sandals. Overall very happy with my purchase.

This is the first pair of Birkenstocks I've ever owned, so I wasn't sure what size to get. I fully expected to have to order several pairs to get the size right, but the first pair worked perfectly. I have flat feet and they have been comfortable. I did (as several others advised) "break them in" over a period of several days, before I wore them an entire day. They go with just about everything. They aren't as bulky as the other versions.

This is a very comfy shoe. I was extremely pleased with the support and the way it formed to my foot. I was unhappy with how the shoe got warn down so quickly. About 2 months after I began wearing the shoe I noticed the back of the shoe pealing apart and I could see the bottom was almost all warm down. Overall I recommend the shoe but be aware of how often you wear them.

I love these sandals and I really wanted them to work but they are a bit too big. I’m a size 7.5 to 8, I felt like the 38s would be too small so I order the 39s...they’re a little too big. :( So sad because I love them!!

Much too tight around the foot to fit my medium foot, I read that I had till March 30 th to return, now I'm stuck with shoes I cannot wear! I am a physically disabled 74 year old lady and was working for a month to build my strength to walk up and down steep hills to Whole Foods. After trying to return the shoes to UPS Store. I want to return these overpriced Birkenstop shoes and I want a refund!

Have had these for a few months now and they have not let me down. I’m an avid Birkenstock owner and these are no exception. Super comfortable and with the new style they are cute to wear with multiple outfits. I even wear them to work daily! They did only come in wide but I haven’t noticed them to be any different or any more wide than my last pair.

These shoes are super cute. I love that Birkenstock’s offer narrow widths and that you can adjust the buckles. These shoes are comfortable right out of the box and don’t look clunky/chunky. Thank you Birkenstock. Just wish you made these in more colors.
