Clarks, a name synonymous with comfort and quality, began in 1825 with two brothers, Cyrus and James Clark. Their story started with a simple idea: crafting slippers from sheepskin offcuts. This dedication to resourcefulness and innovation has been at the heart of Clarks for nearly 200 years.
Clarks prioritizes both comfort and timeless design. They are pioneers in foot-shaped technology, ensuring a perfect fit and all-day support. Their classic styles have transcended generations, while their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of modern footwear trends.
I love everything about this style! It's very comfortable ! I can wear it all day and I never know I have it on. I love the cutouts, the height of the heel and the colors available. I now have three colors so I can wear them year round. Thank you Clarks!
I like these so much that I bought a black pair and a brown pair. Comfy, and I think it is cute (although my teen daughter does not, who raised this child, anyway?) It is still hard to find attractive shoes for wide feet, but these are great. I like how the design of the straps is somewhat similar to cable knitting. Seems like these are being discontinued, which is a shame. I would buy more colors if more were offered. (This review is from the wife/mom of this household account.)
This shoe seems to have a little extra room for the toes, so you don't need to size up. They are comfortable, but not a big arch support. The strap at the top has Velcro, so you can adjust it. That's nice, but it adds a bulkier look to the shoe. Because of that, I would say this shoe is more for a casual look.
Clarks shoes are changing so much and I think they are changing for the better. HOWEVER the sizing is all over the map with different series of styles providing such bizarre size variations the customer must be careful not to buy a size based on what fit in her past. For example loafers first introduced in 2019 mostly likely are a full size smaller than shoes introduced in late 2020. There may be a one and one half size difference with shoes introduced in 2021.What does this mean? If you have always worn a 10 in Clarks now you may need a 9 or even an 8.5wide. So that is a crazy amount of change. To get one pair fitting your feet you may have to order 7 pairs.
have been purchasing this brand of shoes for a number of years.Always satisfied
Comfy and nice looking shoe...but size down 1/2 size easily.
I love Clarks! I bought these shoes and a pair of slip ons in the same size. The slip ons fit perfectly, but these are too big.
I have purchased two pairs of these shoes for my mother. One pair developed a hole in the sole within ten months of purchase and the second pair lasted only four months before a hole appeared. Since my mother lives in a nursing home and doesn't walk that much, I was really surprised when the holes appeared. I have ordered and loved several pairs of Clark's shoes and sandals for myself and they have held up well. This shoe seems to be an exception.
