I wanted a replacement for my basic, black, low-heel leather loafers (a different brand) that I bought long ago - I wore them so often, they fell apart. I remembered that a pair of Clarks black leather clogs I also had years ago had fit great, looked great and lasted a long time. So I looked at a lot of Clarks options, and took a chance on this Emslie Summit Loafer - even though its heel is higher than I thought I wanted. I'm SO glad I got the Emslie! This shoe has actually exceeded my expectations in fit, looks and versatility. My feet tend to easily (and unexpectedly) swell at times, which makes most shoes uncomfortable, especially if I'm at work and wearing them all day long. The Emslie is EXTREMELY comfortable, never hurts my feet, and still looks stylish! I have slip-on sneakers and flats that are too casual for when I want to dress nicer. Of my nicer, dressier shoes, the Emslie is by FAR the most comfortable and is now my go-to shoe. Clarks has never let me down yet!

Great fit and support. Little big but no show sick provides perfect fit. Just not sold on the looks, with or without socks showing. But comfort is key so probably will keep as I have found nothing better. Need for a business trip where I will be doing a lot of walking. Closest to sneaker comfort.
These are super comfortable and have become my all around everyday work shoe! They look great with pants and are passable with a dress. I like that they have a small heel but still feel super supportive. I have horrible feet and can no longer wear any shoe without good support. It takes a bit of searching to find something that doesn't look like a grandma shoe. I just wish it came in Navy as well. I ordered a similar style, but I like the basic design of this one.

I like how comfortable these shoes are for work. I am not on my feet all day since I work in an office. I have a stress fracture on my right foot and have bought several pair of shoes trying to find comfort and style and always come up short. These are the most comfortable shoes I've worn in a long time. They are stylish and can be worn with slacks or a dress. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone who have feet issues but want comfort.
I have a hard time finding a shoe that has an arch that matches the arch in my foot, and this is no exception. The quality of shoe is amazing and I wish they fit me better—if you have a standard arch to your foot, these would be great! I’m still looking for the right insole for them so I can wear them comfortably, they are super cute shoes!!
