Clarks, a name synonymous with comfort and quality, began in 1825 with two brothers, Cyrus and James Clark. Their story started with a simple idea: crafting slippers from sheepskin offcuts. This dedication to resourcefulness and innovation has been at the heart of Clarks for nearly 200 years.
Clarks prioritizes both comfort and timeless design. They are pioneers in foot-shaped technology, ensuring a perfect fit and all-day support. Their classic styles have transcended generations, while their commitment to innovation keeps them at the forefront of modern footwear trends.
This shoe is comfortable and fits well. I've a VERY narrow feet ( 4A heel ) and am especially hard to fit. Clark's, when they have my 11 N or sometimes 12 N seldom disappoints. The only Clark's I find I cannot wear are the over the top ankle strap sandals. They are never fit tightly across the top of the foot or can the straps be tightened enough.
The depth of a shoe on the sides make a difference in comfort. If it is too high, it rubs my ankle bone and I won't want to wear them. These are not too high. I appreciate the flexible sole that makes walking a pleasure even when I'm tired. I will see how the wear as the shoes get older.
I liked the heavier sole, the "nod" to it being an espadrille, and the sturdiness of the shoe itself. Great blue color. I didn't keep it because the toe was a bit too round for me - and I wanted a canvas shoe for the spring and summer. I might go back to this one, however, in the fall....
Loved the style and color but sadly couldn’t get my foot in the shoe. I ordered the wide with but was still too narrow. Have ordered other Clark shoes and the fit well but the have Velcro straps. So sad I have to return them.
These fit my narrow feet great. True to size. Very comfortable
Clarks is a brand I trust so much that it is the brand of nearly every shoe not a skechers in my closet. My work shoes and sandals are all clarks. I trust the brand to meet my needs and fit correctly. This is why I left the shoes in their box for over half a year before I took them out to wear and was blindsided when they were too small for my giant foot. I wear a 7.5 to 8 and these were supposed to be a size 8. All I can say is all my other clarks fit and they are 7.5 for sandals 8 for shoes but I could not get my foot into these. Lesson learned try the shoes on as soon as you get them do not depend on brand trust, thats on me but how can a size 8 be too small when all other shoes the same size fit comfortably? I am not convinced this pair of shoes was sized correctly.
Really cute shoes! After reading reviews I ordered half size up ( normally a 9 in Clark’s ) and they are very comfortable. I did stretch them with a shoe stretcher for a few hours before wearing them but after that have worn them walking all over the place and no issues. They are pretty supportive on the arch which is critical for me. Good quality as expected with Clark’s. I’m very happy with this purchase.
These do not look or fit like the many other "Clarks" shoes I have. They are too narrow, too pointy, and look like a discount store purchase.
