I've been wanting a pair of "fisherman"-type sandals but was unable to find one that was comfortable. I have a narrow foot & sagging arches so my foot pronates; also, I do not like shoes that are tight in the toes. My foot measures ~9.5 inches long & I generally wear an 8N in other shoes. When I saw these from Clark's (which are technically considered a "loafer" but were the look I wanted), I took a chance & am happy I did. The minute you slide your feet into them is such an "ahhhh" moment as they cushion your feet so well. I haven't worn them a lot yet but when I do they continue to be comfortable. I wanted the Navy color but it was unavailable in my size so I ordered the Black. To my pleasant surprise, I received the Navy color!! (as, apparently, did a number of others who ordered Black around that same time - March '21 for me). If they continue to feel good I will order another pair in another color. Besides the comfort, I like that the toes are fully enclosed but have the strappy look of a sandal.
Very well constructed of quality materials, unlike so many of the shoes on the market today (you wonder when you leave for work early in the morning if some of the paper or cloth shoes will last until you get home!) They're comfortable when you first put them on, as well as at the end of the day! The price is reasonable for the product.
These loafers look great, I just wish I would have gotten them a 1/2 size bigger.
I’m not actually reviewing on the product itself. They are Clark’s so I’m sure they will be just fine my wife hasn’t tried them on yet I’m more interested in the delivery driver. Kudos to whoever delivered them, instead of putting them on the front porch they put them behind the house on an easily accessible sidewalk behind the sunroom which is even more out-of-the-way Of site. Not that the delivery location has a problem with porch Pirates but the forethought on their part was outstanding. Ok my review after she tried them on, I would recommend to order maybe a half size to one size smaller than you usually wear. I have a woman at work that lives by Clarks and she says she always has to buy slightly smaller than her normal shoes size. This is kind of the downfall with ordering online because all shoe sizes seem to be slightly different. Other than that, I will be either returning them to Kohls which I have been informed you can do with Amazon and just ordering a slightly smaller size. OK quick edit to original reviews.... Took original shoes back to Kohl’s, return super simple re-ordered a different size. Fit perfectly so from what I have learned and what I have been told by a couple other women if you’re ordering Clark’s get about a half size smaller at least in the stretchy sandal shoes I can’t attest for the rest of them . But other than that no problems at all!
These are beautiful shoes, comfortable padded and supportive, but they run a little short so your toes are rubbing against the front of the shoe. After a day of wearing them around the house, I had to send them back due to the shoes being slightly short in size 8 1/2 medium.
I have problem feet so I can’t blame the shoes this time. It was so comfortable on my right foot but hurt my left. It could also be the fact that I’m still healing from knee surgery.But these shoes are gorgeous summer shoes. They look better on your feet. If you don’t have problem feet, buy them! You will love them.
These shoes fit as expected. However, there was a sharp seam or stitching in the right shoe that pricked my foot right at the base of my big toe. It was very uncomfortable, and I was disappointed because they are very nice looking shoes and otherwise fit well.
We (I and my wife) naught these shoes for my Sister-in-Law. She is almost octganerian with diabetese issues. Once she wore the shoes and walked a short distance in them she got hooked for life.
