I've been looking for years for a bootie that I could travel with. Light enough to put in my luggage, flexible enough to walk on cobblestones, comfortable enough to wear all day, but still classic enough to wear with black slacks on an evening out. They run a bit long but, with a comfortable sock, it leaves room to move. The leather is soft right out of the box. I normally wear an 8 and purchased a 38. After walking in them for a day I'm glad I didn't size down. They dress up a jean and with a protectant can brave the rain. I may have to buy a second pair!
Nice soft leather boots.... This does run a little larger, & I got a good fit with one size down. The arch is rather flat & the toe box somewhat fitted. It should be comfortable for most, but my big toes need more depth to keep from rubbing on the top. I prefer my Dansko Womens Caley Bootie that have a deeper toe box and better arch support.
These are one of the most comfortable shoes I’ve purchased and they look great!
I’m a long time fan of Dansko and have several pairs in different styles. Unfortunately the Louisa bootie was so small I could barely get my foot into it.
After returning the first pair. I got a size smaller and it was perfect. I believe this boot runs a full size bigger than usual. But I put it on just for a short morning job and ended up being away all day. At the end of the day I actually forgot I had on new shoes. Get a pair you won’t be sorry.
I love the Dansko brand! I have some of their shoes, so when my go to fall and winter fashion boots wore out, I decided to look at what Dansko had to offer. These are so comfortable and well made! The color in my pictures may look a bit different than what’s pictured in the listing for them on Amazon because I put a good coat of mink oil on them. I wear my ankle boots pretty much daily when the weather starts getting chilly, and I like the natural luster and water repelling properties mink oil gives smooth leather.
Even with fat socks, boots are too large. Missed return window.
True to size. I’m on my feet all day. These provide the comfort and support. Will not disappoint. Love the color black goes with everything. Make sure you put shoe protector on them.
