ECCO, a Danish footwear brand founded in 1963 by Karl Toosbuy, began with a simple yet revolutionary idea: creating comfortable shoes that mimicked the barefoot walking experience. Toosbuy believed that shoes shouldn't restrict the natural movement of the foot, and ECCO's commitment to ergonomic design has been at the heart of the brand ever since.
ECCO prioritizes both comfort and style. They utilize innovative technologies and premium materials to create shoes that are anatomically shaped, lightweight, and flexible. ECCO also boasts a keen eye for design, offering a range of styles that are both functional and fashion-forward.
They were comfortable out of the box, however I was able to put my own arch supports in just in case I am on my feet in these. They just need to make more colors.
These shoes are ok. they fit all right, but do not have the same support as Ecco shoes in the past. Liked the european sizing before better than the new sizing. Makes me think they have changed their manufacturing
I bought these because I like Eccos for the fit - especially the arch support and the toe room. I tried two different sizes, a 41 and a 42. I take a size 10 in US sizes. The 42 was too big all over, in width & length. The 41 felt good in comparison and I kept it. My mistake. After wearing them for about 6 hours, I noticed my big toe was getting sore from being squished to the side on my right foot. I tried wearing them without socks, which didn’t help. The shoes were wrinkled and looked too used after that short time to return (although I have sent shoes back to Amazon which were received in a worse condition). I tried different inserts, but with no luck. I feel I wasted $60 dollars. I wonder if they are really Ecco’s. The more I wore them, the more my big right toe seemed to slant to the side of the shoes. They went into the donation box. I have learned my lesson and will not buy shoes on Amazon. I will pay more at a retail store and will feel more confident I am buying the true brand.
Friends recommend Ecco shoes and I love them. They are so comfortable and attractive compared to what I used to wear.
I've worn Ecco's for years and have always been a European size 41. Thes run very small AND no arch support nor comfortable to wear. Returned . Also the bottoms looked worn/used. 🙄
Fit and support
Great shoes, they are really perforated, but1. I sized up 1 size and my toes met the end on the shoe2.if you have a chubby kind of a big toe - it may not be comedy because the shape of the toe box is centered, if it makes any sense.. I would have reordered them in a bigger size but that size is not available..
The shoes runs small, compered to other Ecco I have, so you should size up. Otherwise very comfy
