I'm a true 7, and it is a very snug fit as you see from the first picture. I tried the 7.5 at a store in the navy blue (which is beautiful too), however it was way too loose, like 1-2mm off the heel loose, so I ordered a 7 and a shoe stretcher.Very lightweight, made of a tough foam sole rather traditional rubber lug sole...I prefer this to a heavier shoe.Wish they made metallic versions of this style, like Calvin Klein's Pewter Grant Loafers, but will definitely get grey patent and navy blue eventually. This hazelnut color is a good color for med-dark skin tones with pink/peachy undertones...not sure if it is the right color for my skin as I am more neutral undertoned, but I I haven't seen this color anywhere else and I love it, so going to try it to make it work...
I normally wear an 8.5W but bought an 8W after reading reviews about the length. I wanted comfortable dress shoes that I can stand and walk in all day without issue. I have a very wide, almost duckbill platypus, foot ball width so I struggle to find dress shoes that don't squeeze my foot and hurt.Out the box these were TIGHT. I had to put panty hoes socks to get them on. They're on they were too tight around my foot ball, a tad long at the toe, and lifted off my heel sometimes. Super disappointing because I was hoping they would be perfect out the gate. They're leather so they will stretch out a bit but if they don't stretch out enough then I've just wasted $120. I decided to wear them with the socks around the house to see. Although the process was a little painful and I kept having to message the blood back into my toes, they did stretch a bit. Ironically, they hold on to the heel better too. I'm pretty impressed how much they started to form to my foot after just an hour. I think they will end up fitting the way i need them too. I will be keeping them. The quality is excellent inside and out. They have nice padding in the foot bed. No need for inserts. The stitching is clean and solid. They have a nice matte finish and look like quality leather shoes. I got the regular black leather (not shiny patent). I like that the sole has good floor grip and a solid base for standing and walking. They're not light weight per say but they're not heavy either. This style shoe has to have some weight to it. But they're not as heavy as others I've bought.I do with they were a bit wider.
No surprises, here! I have narrow feet, overall, but especially in the heel. These fit exactly as expected -- just fit lengthwise, and the heel is a bit loose. Love the clean lines of the shoe and the precision stitching. Good quality leather, too. Given my size 12 narrow feet, my usual habit when I find shoes as near perfect as these is to buy a second pair -- which I will do as soon as I finish this review!
I loved this shoe. Soft and good quality. I'm so bummed that it doesn't come small enough for me. I wear size 5, too long. Doesn't come in size 4.5.
So disappointed. Usually a great brand but these may be the most uncomfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. A year later, they still rub blisters on my heels. I have them in a 7.5 and 8 - one’s too big one’s too small. Both fit so horribly they force air through the top causing a farting noise when I walk.I truly wish I could return them but I guess I’ll just donate them.
I love the sleek, modern look of this updated loafer. The chunky heel is a perfect height for work and play, and it is comfortable. I feel secure with the lug sole in rainy weather.
Beautiful shoe but I just can’t find the right foot pads to make them fit comfortably. Too bad because I like the style.
I just bought these, so my review is based on initial reaction, but I like these. The chunky heel and footbed are very comfortable. They fit well and are a style I can wear with pants and leggings.
