I own these boots in black and loved them so much I just purchased the brown ones. I expect to wear them a lot in the fall and winter. They are great over leggings, skinny jeans, and tights. I would say I have small to average calves and they are snug but not too tight. They are extremely comfortable and can be worn all day. They can be dressed up or down. The only downside is that you may need someone to help you take them off at the end of the day but otherwise they are great boots. Plus they're waterproof!!
