My favorite pair of boots! So good i felt inclined to write a generic review hoping I can inspire the next tentative soul to take this financial investment and receive overwhelming compliments from acquaintances you desperately void small talk with.
I’ve been looking for a good quality boot for a while. Doing some research. I went to the mall and the boots I went after were sold out. I walked around to nearly every store and the very last one had these. I wasn’t impressed at first glance. But I kept looking, picked it up, felt it. I’ve been buying a lot of boots like this for $60. This IS the definition of QUALITY. I’ve only had these a few days. I don’t know about the longevity, that’s why I only gave them 4 stars. However, after going through many pairs of boots like this, I can tell you even the zipper feels like higher quality. The leather is SOFT. I put mink oil on it, like all my other boots, and instead of soaking it in, this boot almost repelled it. Like it wasn’t pourius enough to soak it in. I don’t know what that means.These boots are by far the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had.I am extremely happy I pulled the trigger and made the investment. Again, I’d give it 5 stars if I knew the longevity.
I really wanted to love these boots. The look and the style are perfect. I have never spent this much money on a pair of boots and assumed I would get to use them for years. Unfortunately they have Poor materials and craftsmanship. Fist week I wore the boots had issues with the tabs that pull up the boot. Worn through the toe-box in less than one year. After contacting the manufacturer they did nothing to stand behind their product.
I have purchased two pairs of these boots, and had to return both of them. The first pair, the leather loop on the heel to pull the boot on, came loose at the stitching. I returned that pair. I liked the boots so a lot, I ordered a second pair. This time the shoestrings lasted less than four weeks and had to be replaced. Then one of the shoestring cleats broke off. (See photo) I had to return this pair of boots also. They were very comfortable, and I received a lot of compliments on the styling, but will not buy a third pair.
