Skechers Women's Hands Free Slip-Ins Max Cushioning Elite-Smooth Transition Sneaker, Black, 7.5 Wide

I just retired with 46 years hospital service where it is crucial to be kind to your feet. If you treat them well, they in turn will make your life bearable, if not a little more pleasurable. For the last decade or so I have sported several pairs of SKECHER brand shoes, both at work and home. They are available in wide widths, allow a decent amount of air circulation, are comfy, stylish, and ALWAYS look great with little to no effort or maintenance. So, when I retired, I just couldn't bear to toss my "besties" aside.Our home is a rural residence where we often wear old shoes when we go outdoors in effort not to soil our good ones. With that in mind, I passed a couple of pairs of my "old faithfuls" on to my 22 year old son for use during outside chores/recreation. But soon thereafter, I discovered him wearing them just about everywhere he went (more often than not, sporting a rather odd pairing of black shoes and tall, white crew socks. When I dared to ask "Why...", he let me know in self assured fashion that "these shoes are just soooo comfortable, Mom".So, when I spied these SKECHER SLIP ONS last month on AMAZON, I immediately knew they were the shoes for him (even though advertised for women). The slip on feature, all white "breathable" fabric, striking black accents, not-too-wide fit, and all over comfort made for an easy choice (however the rather extravagant price made it a bit more of an investment). But, despite my initial trepidation, I am absolutely certain my son will be wearing these shoes for quite a long while, especially NOW that he has gotten so many COMPLIMENTS on them. (I actually think he puffs up his chest and walks a little bit higher these days, in part due to pride of ownership, and in part due to the fact that the soles of these shoes actually DO provide a little extra height.)Now, we can't speak for durability of these sneakers just yet, other than for our personal past experience, however SKECHERS ARE renown for their quality/durability. AND, speaking of the SKECHERS brand, please don't accept their gender specificity with regard to these shoes. I, along with the many others that have provided my son compliments on them - each of us consider these great looking shoes totally GENDER NEUTRAL.

I bought these shoes for my mother in law and she said they are the most comfortable shoe ever. They fit to true to size and very good quality.

I needed a basic black sneaker for walking around Disney World for hours at a time. I wear Skechers a lot, but still needed more cushioning. I ordered these with "Max Cushioning" and am very happy. The cost was more than I usually spend, but I needed the "wide" size, so had to pay more. I love that I can slip them on, even with thick socks, without bending down. They pop on easily!

I really like the look of this shoe. Stands out. It’s Skechers so you know it’s comfortable. The only thing I don’t like is the material. Makes my feet hot and sweaty. The material doesn’t breathe like my other Skechers. Too hot for a lot of walking on hot pavement. I don’t wear socks with them but if I do they will be thin since they’re hot. I have 2 other pair similar to this that are not as hot. The slip in technology is great because you literally do not have to bend down and touch them to put them on. I think the price is a bit High because the are essentially the same as $50 Skechers but you’re paying all the extra for the ease of putting them on. I don’t think I would repurchase because of the sweating issue but I do still love the look, the convenience and the comfort.

Love these shoes. Extremely cushioned & comfortable for all day wear. I bought a size 6 which is my normal size but the toe bed felt a little big so I exchanged for a size 5.5. The smaller size rubbed across the top of my toes so I went back with an a size 6 and they molded to my feet after wearing them. I wear these shoes with thin no-show socks. They are perfect in every way - very stylish and functional which seems rare. We do need more colors though.

These are my first pair of slip-in Skechers and I love them. Shoes are very comfy, but I absolutely love the slip-in ability. I purchased these for the ease and they do not disappoint.

I absolutely love these new Sketchers I have worn leather golf shoes for over 20 years and I replaced my golf shoes this year with these oh my gosh they are so comfortable it takes all I have not to use them for every day shoes I absolutely love them

I have worn Skechers for years, and they have been super comfortable from the first time I put them on. I have always worn a size 11 extra wide.These shoes are definitely slip in, as advertised, which is great. They have much more cushioning than my other Skechers - almost spongey.Unhappily, the size 11 wide I ordered fit quite a bit small, and I really needed at least an 11.5 and probably a 12.I was also really surprised that the insides feel quite rough and have no lining, so they chafe - not nearly as comfortable as my other Skechers. Having said that, I never wear sox, as we live in Panama where it is always warm/hot, but with my other Skechers this has never been a problem.With a size larger (or more) and sox they would likely be fine - but that is not how I wanted to wear them.I have issues with returning them from here (Panama - costs $75) for a bigger size so someone here with smaller feet will get a nice present ...Just know that you may wish to consider a half or more size up from your usual Skecher size.
