I’m relatively new to clip in cycling shoes but I loved these from the get go. Fit perfectly, look great on and off the bike and I found them to provide good support when riding. I would not want to go on a hike with these on but for brief forays off the bike they are fine.
These shoes are very comfortable and high quality. I love them.Only thing I wish they had was the spinning thing for the shoe laces
Pros: Smooth, simple, well-made low shoes with an elastic collar that covers your anklebones about the height of high-top Converse sneakers. It helps prevent dirt & gravel from entering the socks or shoes. They’re easy to clean if they get muddy.Con: The soles' tread is so thick, especially in the front, they're difficult to walk in compared to regular mountain bike shoes that include SPD cleats. The tread depth also makes it harder to clip into your pedals.
Still holding up after a year. Tread seems to hold up to walking on gravel and pavement, which is pretty important for a trail riding shoe.
I really like these shoes for gravel. The cuff is not so big you get hot foot, but it does a good job of keeping small rocks from getting in your shoes. Nice reflective touches, these are a narrow last, so I don't think they would be great for someone with wide feet. The most signficant issue with them is the sole is slick plastic (where there is not rubber tread) and your foot can slide over the pedal when trying to clip in. I added some rubber shower stripping to the bottom on some of the larger plastic areas and it really helps with clipping in. Otherwise, great shoes!
This is a cool looking shoe, but it just didn't feel like a proper cycling shoe. I wear a 9.5US and I ordered a 9.5 but they seemed loose.Coming from Sidi and Specialized mountain bike shoes, these adidas left something to be desired.I also wasn't a fan of the high top sock design. It was a pain in the ass to put the shoes on.I wanted to love these shoes, but ended up returning them
I’ve had these boots for two months now. They look great, and on the bike they are fantastic as advertised. Off the bike walking on gravel, dirt, grass, etc, they are also fantastic. Walking on asphalt? A joke, especially on a downhill grade, even just a slight one. Even worse than normal cycling shoes. There is just zero traction. Be very, very careful if you have to walk your bike across the street for any reason. I had to shimmy across a downhill intersection sideways like a fool in order not to slip and get hit by a car.
Really nice shoes.
