Great riding shoes! We got these for my wife and there was no "break in" period. They were comfortable to wear right from the start. She has had them just over a year now, riding 3-4 times per week and the riding shoes are still in good shape! True to size, accurate website description, and great value for the price! Highly recommend!
These sneakers are a must for biking . The are super comfortable & fit true to size . The bottom stick to my petals just like they are supposed to , No more petal strikes ! The best part is when you done biking they look like everyday sneakers ! I have also washed them with success !
Ok so I really like Adidas footwear. I generally wear a size 12 in Adidas. I went with an 11.5 based on other reviews and that seems about right. I also own a pair of 5-10 Freeride MTB shoes in a size 12. I probably could have gone with size 12 on these with an insole insert and been ok.These are stiff soled bike shoes and as such flat with very little cushy support. You may want to put in some generic arch inserts in.I’m using these as bike to work shoes mostly. They are also styling enough to wear at work. They are not as beefy as my 5-10 MTB shoes. See pics comparing the shoes.5-10s have to black sole. These shoes are really cool looking so I’m not planning on using them off road as much.I feel like they are similar to lace up Vans but with a thicker more durable sole.Over all at $80 these are a great value for stylish shoes that work great for peddling.Update 7/22. I’ve been using them a lot on the MTB for shorter rides in the ten mile range and overall a prefer them now over the heavier 5-10s in pics. They have held up really well.
Adidas proves once again its flair for athletic innovation with its range of mountain biking shoes. Tailored for the off-road cycling enthusiast, these shoes offer an impressive blend of style, comfort, and durability.Starting with aesthetics, the shoes maintain a modern and sleek design that, in typical Adidas fashion, perfectly combines practicality with visual appeal. However, it's not just the good looks that have captured my attention. The comfort of these shoes is one of the standout features. Constructed with a firm but cushiony sole and an adaptive upper, they comfortably secure the foot even on rough terrains. The shoe's fit is snug without being restrictive, which is an essential aspect for bikers tackling long distances. But perhaps the most commendable feature is the durability. Adidas' mountain biking shoes withstand the elements exceptionally well, thanks to the high-quality materials and expert craftsmanship. Whether you're cycling through muddy forests or rocky mountains, these shoes hold their own against wear and tear. The grip is commendable, too, thanks to the sturdy rubber outsoles, which provide secure traction on pedals and the ground alike. That being said, I noticed that they could feel a bit stiff initially but tend to ease up with regular use.A minor drawback is the price point. These shoes are on the higher end of the scale, which might deter some potential buyers. However, the value they provide in terms of comfort, durability, and overall performance, in my opinion, justifies the investment. In summary, Adidas' mountain biking shoes offer a harmonious blend of comfort, performance, and resilience. For mountain biking enthusiasts willing to invest in high-quality footwear, these shoes are a standout choice.
I really like the sole of this shoe, it has enough grooves on the bottom to feel locked in on your flat pedals, and the sole is rigid enough to keep great form when pedaling so your feet don't bend around the pedal when putting good pressure on it. I don't feel like I lose any efficiency when riding long distances with these on, and they look good walking around town. The best choice for a good urban cycling shoe.
The weather was finally good and I was able to use the shoe on my local trail. The sole is very sticky and gripped my bike pedals well. It was comfortable and it fit perfect. While I can't say much for durability yet the canvans/suede material is well made and kept the feet dry when I hit some puddles during the ride.
I was looking for a casual flat pedal shoe that didn’t look like a flat pedal shoe. Not only are these great for riding, but they look awesome too. I’m usually on the border between 10 and 10.5 so I got a 10 since some mentioned they run a little big. The 10 is perfect for me. If I could complain about anything it’s that they are a little narrow in the tow box (think Nike vs brooks) but not uncomfortable at all. I might buy a second pair for when these wear out!
Great shoe on the bike, and off. Very comfortable. Grippy sole works great with my bikes’ flat pedals. Great buy.
