Comfortable, true & not overly narrow fit, lots of adjustment, grips pedals like a champ, reasonably stiff foot bed. Haven’t had them out in really hot weather yet (nothing above 80f), but venting appears good. Only real complaint is the color selection is a bit boring. My new favorite flat pedal shoe.
Comfortable and quick to put on. No more dealing with pesky laces on mtn biking shoes. Absolutely love these.
Fits to size. BOA laces are convenient, and secure shoes nicely. Good material construction, and shoes seem to be well made. Happy with product.
Super light and comfortable. The BOA system is nice over conventional laces, but it’ a great to have the reinforced eyelets on the shoes in case of an emergency. The sticky compound of the shoes on flat pedals seems to work a treat. So well sometimes I forget I’m not clipped and expect to find punctures in the soles, but nope, still firm and still very much intact.
I have Race face Pedals on my Gazelle E-Bike & these shoes stick to them like glue. The Wire laces make it super easy to take on & off. Their comfortable to walk around in too.
The overall quality is on par with the rest of Giro's footwear. Everything is properly glued and sewed. The boa system works as expected. I bought these mostly for XC trail riding. Nothing with big jumps or huge rock gardens. They work alright in that regard. They grip my pinned pedals well, are light, and have good ventilation. They're comfortable to walk up the occasional hill or into the store in.I have tried these a few times on my enduro bike, riding at a downhill park. The soles are pretty soft and flexible, which is not good when you're spending all day standing on your pedals. My feet flexed around the pedals, got tired and started aching pretty quickly. They also do not not have much protection in the form of reinforcement or padding, so if you hit a rock you're going to feel it.I wish the description made it clear these are more for recreational riding. It states "...for rowdy descending and powerful pedaling on your all-day adventures", which is definitely not the case. The included insoles are about 2mm thick and offer no arch support or impact absorption either. They also fit a little on the narrow side, especially for a size 48, but that seems to be typical for Giro.
None,
Easy on and off. I like the lacing system, very easy.
