These sandals are sturdy and very cute. They have decent cushioning. However, they are very narrow and I would not advise them for regular to wide feet because with this particular design the beads dig into your feet and are very uncomfortable. The straps cross awkwardly on my small toes. Basically, these shoes look cute as long as you don't have to actually walk in them. I love Aldo shoes as the price to quality is fantastic, but the design of these particular sandals need tweaked a bit.
This is an update to the initial review below (5/03/2023)I wear these sandals most often and they have become very comfortable.I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. They go with so many different outfits-casual to semi-casual. They are my favorite shoe for Florida weather 😊Aldo Black Sandals (2022)The size 8 fits my size 8 foot snuggly. If I had tried them on in the store, I may have opted for a 8.5 US instead.I have needed a black pair of sandals for a while, so I have many reasons to wear these.However, after wearing them for more than an hour, I can feel the rub of the gold clips on the top of my feet/toes. Unfortunately these sandals may not be made for long walks. The sole of the sandal is slightly cushioned and flexible, but the discomfort from the top decorations overshadows this.Unless these sandals become more comfortable with wear, I may have to limit these to only certain occasions where lengthy walks are not required.The black faux leather pattern on the sides of the gold toned back zipper reminds me of the older Prada pattern - too bad I don’t still have that purse…

I got these because black sandals are always a must, you can match them with almost anything and are also very handy! These sandals are so comfortable in the front and comfortable to walk in. I would absolutely recommend these, the style is also so nice. They do run small, if in doubt regarding what size to get I would recommend going going up at least a whole size up depending on how wide your foot is. Overall I like these a lot and they’re very useful!!
