So as a life long flip flop wearer I messed my forefoot up. It was recommended not to wear flip flops or sandals where the toes are used to grip and I had to wear a boot on the offending foot for at least 8 weeks. The kicker was I was going on a 10 cruise to Italy and Greece. The horror! I needed a platform type of sandal to balance out the height of the boot so the hunt began. These Alegria were like the 7th pair I tried (of various brands) and they are the winners! Very comfortable, completely adjustable (walking, heat, etc, feet will swell!) well made and they looked good! They about matched the boot height so I didn’t suffer knee or hip pain because I didn't have to compensate on the other side. Now I wear them on both feet and both feet are happy! Highly recommend!
I've had Dansko sandals in the past, but these are MUCH more lightweight, without feeling cheap or flimsy. I love that the straps are ALL adjustable with Velcro, so that I can get exactly the right fit, regardless of any swelling (I purchased these following a major sprain). I'd never heard of this brand before and most of their styles don't fit my aesthetic, but these are comfy enough that I'll look for this brand in the future.

These are so pretty! I love that they have a little height, maybe an inch and a half, but it still has such great support. They are so comfortable and I can wear these all day.
Very comfortable. Stable with great arch support. I usually wear a 71/2 in sandals. I ordered the 7-71/2. Toe near the end but I feel like the next size would not fit as well.
This shoe has amazing support and the semi-roller sole prevents the toe from getting caught on the floor preventing triping
The straps are not stretchy, it should be flexible to suit wide feet but it's not.
