I've owned a pair before but couldn't find them in the local shoe stores. I was excited to find them online. They are comfortable, last a long time, and look good. I now have 3 pair in 3 different colors. The one caution is that they are European sizes but the websites show American sizes. They aren't always the same. I needed a 40 Europe but kept getting a 39 because I wasn't sure how to order. It would be helpful if both sizes were shown. At first I got a 38 but they were too small to be worn and had to be returned.

I bought a pair of these at the end of March/early April of 2017. I usually wear a 39 in EU sizes and a 7.5 in US regular shoes and an 8.5 in athletic shoes. I have a moderately high arch and a foot on the narrow side, particularly the heel. From others reviews I expected these shoes to run WIDE, and they do! But with this style one can tighten the elastic lace to snug the fit. I had to tighten the lace to keep from quite literally walking out of them--see photo. They are soft, like slippers but with a bit more sole padding. The weave of the shoe 'fabric' is elastic-y and gives, such that the fit is comfortable with no 'rubbing. I often put other insoles in my shoes to augment the arch support. I haven't done that with these, as they are comfortable enough without the additional support and I don't wear them for extensive walking. The length of the size 39 was exactly right. The online photos are accurate depictions of the colors. I paid full price and received no compensation.

I love Bernie Mev shoes. They hug my feet like gloves. I have three pair and every pair is super comfortable. This style is looks like lace-ups but they are really step ins. I have a friend who has hammer toes and she swears by Bernie Mev shoes because their woven design accommodates her feet like socks.

I wanted to love this very cute shoe. But the weaving digs into my toe. I have another Bernie Mev shoe of a very similar style and the same size that fits me. My foot is wide.I tried to return it but unfortunately, I missed the return window. I requested nicely but No exceptions were allowed. Since Zappos and Amazon seem to have partially merged, I assumed wrongly about the return window. Check carefully the return policy from the seller.

Comfortable and stylish slip on. Very flexible. You feel any stones or twigs you walk on. Not for walks in the woods! Local errands and walking only.

I LOVE Bernie Mev shoes, especially this style. They are European sized, which means my 9 1/2 foot takes a size 40, I'm not sure why this company doesn't offer that. I ordered the size 9 to 9 1/2 and there is no way it is a size 40. I could not get my foot in it. So I suggest ordering a size larger than you would normally wear. These shoes are so comfortable, I was sad to have to return them.

As a first grade teacher I'm always on my feet so shoes are the one part of my wardrobe where I never skimp. These look fantastic and feel even better! The elastic upper stretches as my feet swell and does not irritate my bunion. The memory foam foot bed gives decent support. I'm not sure if these shoes will require inserts for support as the memory foam condenses, but they are still comfortable at the end of a long day right now. The fun rainbow colors go with everything. The woven elastic doesn't seem to be damaged by a little rain or small puddle. My favorite part is their weight - they are almost weightless! I'm waiting a while to see how these shoes hold up but I may well buy some other colors - love them that much!
