Bernie Mev womens Cindy Flat Sandal, Black, 6.5 US

Ahhhh...I love Bernie Mev. A whole lot. I used to buy Skechers in the similar styles, but in my opinion, Bernies are just simply superior. First of all, they are much more attractive on the foot. More streamlined. More ladylike. Not clunky and bulky like Skechers. Especially true of the peep and open toe variety, they look great with casual dresses and skirts, and with ankle jeans they are a real knockout. Incredibly comfortable and durable too. Once you find your size, as these are European sizing, you'll never want to wear anything by any other shoe manufacturer. Honest! If I could find some yellow, some orange and some pink Bernies of any weave style shoe in my size, I would start getting rid of shoes I own now, and begin slowly replacing my entire shoe wardrobe with Bernies.

Love these shoes. Just bought a second pair. Wore out the first ones... I am tough on shoes and as most rubber soles these days out of Asia, they just don't hold up to super hard wear. They are very light. Great for travel. This pair holds on your feet very well and still keeps your feet cool. Great for the tropics and uneven surfaces. I purchase this time a 39. I wear an 8.5, last time a 40 and they stretched out a bit too much eventhough I can still wear them. Great fun colors. I get lots of compliments. VERY COMFORTABLE with good support.

This is about my 10th pair of "Mevs." This one is only a tiny bit small, but not uncomfortably so. I have "bad feet" because of multiple compound feactures in both feet and ankles and resultant arthritis from 30 year old injuries. ALL THOSE YEARS and shoes have been a real problem. The Mevs are wonderfully light and are a joy to wear. I routinely put MILES on my feet wearing the Mevs. In the last year, I have walked nearly 1,000 miles! Healthy, low impact and fun exercise!

Buyer Beware!!! These shoes run rather small... Originally purchased an 8.5/9 but they fit more like a 7.5/8 (VERY tight, unmanageable fit e.g- my pinky toe popped out of the side!) Had to return and exchange for a 9.5/10 for the right size.Otherwise, these sandals are super lightweight and comfortable, for sure. The arch support is average so if you need the extra support, keep browsing. Would definitely recommend these sandals if you need something lightweight and sturdy enough to do a lot of cruising around in.

I love the style and support of this shoe, and own it in the Navy Camo, but the silver thread and weave of the Pewter color in this style was so confining that I couldn't even get my foot into the size 39 and really struggled to try on the size 40. Sadly, I had to return both sizes of this style in the Pewter color. I do have a wide toe box, and typically wear size 8 - 8 1/2 W, or 39 in Bernie Mev's, and own several pairs of Bernie Mev's in this and other styles, but the fabric of this particular color was just too tight for my feet. I definitely recommend this shoe, just not the metallic colors for those with a wide foot!

I have been looking for a good walking sandal for a couple of years now, since I have a tricky left foot and need cushioning with support, and a flexible upper. These sandals are great, they have just the right cushioning and they stretch enough on top to accommodate "weird" feet, but are still stable. The stitching on the inner sole was a bit scratchy at first, but after about 3 wearings, it is not a problem anymore. The price was unbelievable, so I bought 4 more pairs!

I love the look of the sandals. They're very comfy and fit snug, which is good as it allows each person's feet to stretch it as needed. I'm a little disappointed that it didn't last as long as I'd expected from a Bernie Mev :(I bought them at the beginning of the summer and here is what they looked like at the end of 2 months.... It probably didn't do well with the little bit of water exposure it got. I've bought myself another identical pair for now but need to look at other comfy brands out there for next time!
