Like most other reviewers, I love these shoes but found the front strap a little on the tight side. I have a medium width foot, and the sandals are a medium width, as well. However, they were a touch tight, but I found a solution: I wet the macrame with some water (both on the top of and underneath the strap) then put them on my feet and wore them for about an hour as they dried. That stretched them out to my foot's perfect width! Since the strap is made of cotton macrame, wetting them a bit and then wearing them as they dried really helped the fit of these shoes. They molded to my foot, and this kept them from becoming overly stretched out or loose.Now that they fit, I'm in love! They are so cute. The natural color is great, and the fringed macrame is sooo cute and fun. These sandals will look great with so many summer outfits: denim shorts and jeans, sun dresses, swimsuits... I can just see how so many of my favorite spring and summer clothes will go perfectly with these. I just love the look of these shoes, it's so boho-beachy-casual yet feminine.These shoes are fairly stiff and don't offer a lot of support, but between the rubber soles and the lightly padded footbed, this does help make them more comfortable to wear. But keep in mind, they are very flat and not contoured to the bottom of your foot, if that's something you require.Overall I love these sandals because they are so cute and beachy, and I'm so glad a simple solution worked to solve the tight strap issue and help them fit me better.

These sandals are true to size. I wear a 7 in regular shoes, and a 7.5 in sneakers. The footbed was long & wide enough that my toes and heels did not hang off the edge, and the width was good across the ball of my foot.These are so, so cute and have a boho chic vibe. But they are not that supportive. The padding is thin, and there's no arch support. The sole is ok on rough surfaces like sidewalks or asphalt, but not that grippy on smooth surfaces.These also don't flex that much, which is ok for this style.So I would wear these for a backyard bbq, a date, or an outing that doesn't require a lot of walking.

These shoes are cute but I could not get them on even a little bit. I don't have extra wide feet but still couldn't even get my foot through the top part of the shoe if I tried. They run extra extra extra narrow.

I love the quality of the sandals, they have a padded sole that give your feet extra comfort and the color is great. Unfortunately these sandals are not made for people with wide feet, the bridge is extremely narrow and have no give. I am typically a size 7 and I have wide feet so I usually order half a size up for sandals so they can fit, but these were sadly still too narrow. The design is really cute and they give off a boho chic aesthetic. These are perfect for a walk to the beach, I don't think they would hold up well on long walks or for a night out.

First off, I absolutely love the fun tropical tiki vibe on these sandals. However, I’m doomed. The one lone horizontal strap high up on the sole just doesn’t work with my slightly wide feet. I have to work to get them on, and then my feet try to back out of the straps with each step. I’m shuffling, my toe muscles are getting a workout. The straps should loosen with wear and give a better hold, but they hit so high (right at my toes) that there will always be issues. These sandals need narrow feet and/or a lot of dedicated standing, not fast-paced steps. It’s a style over function dilemma. Billabong Oahu Flat - 8.5 - Natural.

This pair is quite cute. It fits true to size to where there's a little bit of space in the front and back. There is a bit of a comfort padding so it doesn't feel like your feet is practically walking on the ground. It does feel lightweight. The soles does have some grip to it but I would still be careful on certain types of flooring. This is a beach wear/coastal wear type of brand so I'm assuming this is meant more for a day at the beach and not for hours of non stop walking, shopping, etc.My only complaint about these is the rope portion feels a bit tighter than I would have liked. I have small feet that isn't extra wide or anything like that (a standard sized 6, possibly a bit more narrow than some people) and it felt slightly uncomfortable for me. The shoe size fits as expected but I'm just having slight issues with the width. I can still wear this pair and it looks great on me but the tightness makes it a little less comfortable for long term wear.Regardless, this is a very cute pair and coincidentally enough the name is "Oahu flat" - I actually got this pair to wear on my first trip to Hawaii/Oahu!

These billabong sandals are really cute and I love the macrame. But they are tight. The area that goes over your foot is so tight it’s hard to fit my feet thru. It’s also pretty far up on my foot, close to my toes so they are not very comfortable to walk in. They don’t feet sturdy on my feet.I have a wider foot and maybe that’s why they didn’t work out great for me. Maybe someone with thin feet would do better.Super cute sandal. Love the look but wish it fit better.
