I have some Born slip-ons I got at Pismo Beach in 2009. They were comfy from day 1 and still look good. So, after failing on Blundstones and Keens Chelsea boots, I decided to try Borns. I usually wear a 9w, so it was a gamble going for the 9m in the Faline boot. Happily, they are made thoughtfully and have enough room so as to be just right, even after I added a 2nd slim insole. I like their earthy look and get compliments on them
I love them. I ordered a half size up after reading reviews and they are perfect. I nor.ally wear an 8w in converse, 8 in dream pairs and 8 in bogs. These 8.5. Not too narrow either. Really cute. So far seem comfy. They will be put to test at work when it cools down. As far as ankle support and traction, I read complaints, they are not a hiking boot. They are a casual boot. They have visible elastic on either side of the ankles which would equal no support.

You can never go wrong with Born shoes. These shoes were comfortable day one. Perfect for any occasion! I only buy Born boots. They may be a bit expensive but they will last a lifetime!
These are beautiful well made leather pull on boots. I SO want them to work for me. I am overall a 9 or 9.5, I ordered a 9.5 and it was too small, I ordered a 10 after because I loved them so much, I have never worn a size 10 in my life, and it was huge. I am so bummed to not find a fit for my foot, but these boots are so nice, I would recommend others trying.
I love shoes and these are the most comfortable, lightest booties I own. I have them in two colors. They are soft right out of the box. <3 these are the Chelsea boots to buy.
