I bought a size 9 and a 9.5 (both wide width) because I wasn't sure which would fit best. I kept the size 9 because the size 9.5 was actually tighter and smaller than the 9! I'm happy with my size 9 wide but, wouldn't have known that the larger size was actually smaller had I not tried both pairs. They need to be more consistent with sizing but, overall they're very comfortable and cute.
Very comfortable sandal, however both straps do run on the wide side even in the average width shoe.Thats my only complaint.
I like the fit and comfort of this Clarks sandal! I ordered them as used - good from Amazon Warehouse. They exceed expectations--just a tiny bit of wear on the bottom, the rest of the sandal looks brand new. Clarks Cloudstepper line really is about comfort! I like the black because the grey/black combo is dressier than black/white combo I have in another style of Clarks.
FYI — The little fabric ties on the top parts of the slippers were uncomfortable on my feet due to the stitching on underside of the ties. So I got scissors and cut them off carefully. Now the slippers are comfortable. They are pretty slippers, I like the beige color and tiny multicolored dots in the fabric.

I love my Clark flip-flops. These are comfortable and look nice until you need to walk in them. Walking is very difficult, my toes go off the end and tried to grip the shoe, it is a hot mess
I almost always wear a wide, when available. Not in these. The wide is too wide and makes my foot shift forward and back. The normal width fits fine.The straps have a narrow band that is stitched underneath. This stitching (on the band at the arch) hits right on the bone on the top of the foot and is very uncomfortable. I cut the narrow band and used a seam ripper to remove the rest. Much better! The band over the toes feels fine without altering (so far).
